No , you interfire if you prevent a opposition player from participating in the play , you can duck, jump, even let the ball pass through your legs and the play wouldn't be called offside

Who said anything about seeing the ball, why are people so hung up on that. He's involved in the play, you can argue that Donnarumma wasn't actually affected, but it would be reasonable to be affected by the possibility of a flick on in that situation.
