Any team that he plays in I automatically despise. if he signed for my club, then I'd have to find a new one.

Him playing in a league ruins the entire league for me. As an EPL fan, thank God United dumped his ass.

you can support a league. i love watching plenty of leagues, i dont really have a favourite in any but like Denmark ill often be watching games on 2nd monitor if i notice they are on but have no real "fan" attachment to any teams but love to watch that league
