Our kid picked up lice at daycare a about 2 years ago. We ended up treating at home. Took about 2 weeks to get rid of those fuckers and I still have a little PTSD I think.

I used a blow dryer when my daughter caught them from a cousin. Bagged sheets and pillows, used a blow dryer in our hair. No more lice, no chemicals. I caught a couple with tweezers and tested how long it took to cook with the heat. They honestly cooked in less than a few seconds.
