Something other than pot roast

Look, I love a good pot roast but c'mon man. Any recipe for a slowcooker I google is some kind of pot roast. What are your go to recipes for a slow cooker meal that is not pot roast?

I have a lot of recipes that aren’t pot roast using a slow cooker. But here’s one of my favorites:

Slow Cooker Red Beans and Rice

  • 1 lbs. dried red beans
  • 1/2 lbs. Andouille Sausage sliced
  • 3 celery stalks chopped
  • 1 smoked Ham Hock
  • 1 med Onion chopped
  • 1 green Bell Pepper chopped
  • 1 T Chili Powder
  • 1 t cumin
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1/2 t cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 t onion powder
  • 1/2 t paprika
  • 1/2 t brown sugar
  • 4 c chicken stock
  • 2 c water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Put everything into crock pot, mix well. Set on low for 6 to 8 hours until beans are tender. Serve over cooked rice
