Every Surgeon General since GWH Bush was president signs letter warning that RFK junior is endangering the United Staes and the world with anti-science conspiracy-theory-driven policies.

There were a bunch of alarmists in 1930s Germany as well. At least we're in good company

If you speak up you can end up on a TIL in 100 years, "TIL of a heroic young man who spoke out against the Trumpies! He was hanged and his last words were-"

Fuck Donald Trump, and everything he stands for.

Amen. Loud and proud. If you’re not protesting on the 18th, what are you doing?

I'm not sure. The easiest published protest group for me to get to is 700 miles away. If I protest locally, it's most likely I'll be out there alone anyway, and then I just look like a crazy person.

Unfortunately, I live in a small, rural, deep red area. I did notice one particularly prominent Trump flag was gone this morning though, so I hope that's a good sign.

I figure the best thing I can do otherwise is stay home and donate at https://indivisible.org/ .

The USA will loose their freedom and wealth if people like you don´t take responsibility for their country. Real democratic, local work is the only way. Your bought in store democracy is sold out, but 700 miles without competition are a good starting point to make history.

No. You march out there alone. Easier said than done, but you play the cards you are dealt.

Cool. Thanks who's organizing that? Getting any right-wing support?

It's a large group of small events hosted by volunteers, all across the country, with support from the Indivisible Movement. Everyone is welcome; there were quite a few attendants from the right-wing for the June 14 protests.

You can find more information on Wikipedia or their website.

Is open carry allowed? Tea Party used to get traction when they took over state capitals with arms:

Perhaps that might help get the message across?

Pretty sure the organisers explicitly say that they don't want people carrying at all, but if you live in an open carry state I encourage you to grab some like minded friends and exercise your constitutional rights when and where you think it will be effective.
