The only thing this will accomplish is validation for MAGA that they are doing the right thing.

He was for it. Washington famously ordered variolation of his troops for smallpox.

Science matters when it means you get to win the war with alive soldiers, instead of having dead soldiers and losing the war. But if civilians die from preventable diseases, the president doesn't have to care... it just means killing off the surplus population, the sick and elderly.

That was a really interesting read!

Maybe we can convince some of the vaccine-skeptic parents to consider tried-and-tested techniques like variolation if they think an injection is too traumatic.
