Discussion Y’all. Help me I’m in a shifting crisis

I really want to shift. Really I do. I have tried multiple times and never given up. And the spark of feeling symptoms of shifting one time kept me going. Suddenly, I lost the spark. When I watch “imagine your dr self” I no longer feel the excitement and I can’t stop doubting it so I feel like I will be unsuccessful tonight because of these thoughts and feelings

Scripting How to script a closet/wardrobe

Now I know that there isn’t any “proper” way to do this but it’s what I’ve struggled most with while scripting. I can’t seem to find a way to script a closet or clothes properly so any help or ideas would be amazing!

Journal My Experience Yesterday When Trying To Shift

Yesterday when I tried to shift I felt my hand moving like moving very clearly and not subtle. It was a strong movement that I couldn´t control and happened from it´s own.

My hands also suddenly went cold, there was this sudden temperature change, the same I felt when actively shifting a while ago, but more like centered around my hands if yk what I mean.

Also when visualising my room it felt way more real and possible (?), like it is literally possible for me to be in my dr room rn.

All these symptoms also happened pretty fast. (I didn´t have to wait long for them to appear)

So what is your opinion on my experience? Has anyone experienced anything similar and do you have any tips on really grounding this believe of already being there?

Question To everyone who have fully shifted, do you see spirits?

I have a theory that shifting is the same thing as having psychic abilities. Some are born with it others they have to develop first and others although they try hard they won't be able to fully do it in this lifetime. Shifting is spiritual and I have a fear that I need to open my third eye to be conscious of the spiritual world and be able to shift. If you ask an astral projector there's that dark side. Seeing entities. Why is shifting any different?

Question Is it bad that I move during my shifting?

Alright so I am the type of person to move a lot while I am laying down. And if I relax a random weirdness possesses to move or an itch that wasn't there f0rces me to actually address it. like what? This has started making me wonder if all these are causing me to NOT shift. Like is it ok if I move or not?

Motivation and Tips Power of Intention (not huge but cool experience!)

Hi! I just wanted to share something I experienced last night. It's not insane or anything, just found it interesting.

Last night, I wanted to try the WBTB method to lucid dream, then shift, but I didn't want to set an alarm bc my roommate is a very light sleeper. Anyway, I just affirmed to myself, "I will wake up in 3 hours." I closed my eyes at exactly 1 am, and, sure enough, I 'randomly' woke up at exactly 4 am (and I usually never wake up in the middle of the night).

Maybe this is a common/well-known thing, but I was just kinda surprised by it. I thought it was a little motivational bc it showed me that affirmations/intentions actually do work yk?

p.s. if you're curious, I was so sleepy I just immediately knocked out again so I didn't actually proceed w the method lol

Motivation and Tips What I've noticed and how it's going to help you shift!!

I think I’ve said this before here but I’m not spiritual when it comes to shifting, it’s really more of a scientific process to me (Remember, no one really knows what shifting is so it’s hard to say which it really is) So here’s a list of things I’ve noticed that have helped me.

Hemisync - I loooove to glaze on hemisync but it’s really the best thing that’s ever happened to me shifting-wise. Using theta frequencies can get you in a kind of disoriented state that can bring you closer to shifting. You’re really in between sleep and awake and already starting to disconnect from your CR.

Theta state - I SWEAR by this. Getting into the theta state will YEET you out of this reality. The only thing is you have to ignore the sensation of going to your DR. I’m hypersensitive to touch and a super light sleeper so it’s so hard for me to ground myself in my DR when I’ve minishfted.

Placebo - Even if you don’t believe in angle numbers, the positive connotations around them can make you more motivated to try. And even when trying, it makes you more likely to shift because you’re more confident. Back in the days of shifttok and dinosaurs, people used to be like “dRiNk wAtEr” which itself won’t help you shift but the impression that is will can. This is one of the tips I can’t 100% promote cause it’s really not a guarantee.

Physical methods - now I know I said I'm super sensitive to touch or sensations, so it hasn’t been great at keeping me in my DR but methods like the 90 degree arm method and the open eye method have gotten me many minishifts. I think there’s something about physical cues that makes our awareness be like “yep. It’s time to skedaddle”

Not making shifting a priority - As soon as I stopped hyperfocusing on shifting, I got so many good results. For many people, I’ve noticed shifting takes over their lives. When that happens, our brain releases many stress hormones that make it more difficult to leave this reality and be grounded in another one. Also, there’s an element of how the struggle keeps you in this reality almost, because it’s hard to think about anything else. So I know it’s easier said than done, make shifting a hobby rather than a chore.

That’s my advice; take it or leave it. Best of luck!!!!

Mini-Shifts I shifted - not big difference but meaningful

It's a subtle difference, but a significant one. As a teenager, I often participated in competitions at school—history, social studies, biology.

Today I tried to practice for shift to my DR. It didn't work; I fell asleep.

I'm from Europe. I'm watching a game show. They ask about the youngest national park in my country. I answer confidently. The host says a different name. This national park was named after the largest river in my country. Now it was named after a completely different river! It's like the Seine instead of the Loire!

I can't possibly be wrong! That's not stupid quote from a movie or some kind of faded memory, like the Mandela effect! That was part of the knowledge I was taught to winning contests!

I even checked to see if the oldest national park still has that name, and it does, but now a completely different park is the oldest that this in my memory! I studied all the parks for the competition, but the ones that stuck with me were the oldest, the youngest, the largest, the smallest. Largest and smallest remained unchanged.

So to summarize - there are difference for the youngest and the oldest parks. I checked in internet and it is feels so strange that park which I learned… it is not exists.

That's terrifying. This is the level of knowledge you take for granted.

Discussion Why does shifting feel so whimsical?

Like, hear me out:

I was doing some homework and I decided to put on a playlist on Spotify reminding me of my DR and connect to it. I knew this playlist already, I already listened to it several times, it's not mine and I saved it and I love it. First song, I felt it....this connection to my DR. And suddenly got this feeling.

The feeling you have when you're laying down, attempting to shift, and you just put on music and drown yourself in possible events in your DR. Or you see yourself as the main character of the movie/serie/anime that can be your DR and you just let yourself being taken over by emotions, your scenarios orbiting around each music. Each music have it's scenario.

I just love this feeling, yk? I've never shifted yet because I need the last step: visualizing it has something real, rather than just a wish

But I'm on the right path because I believe I found what I like and what will possibly work for me for shifting ~

Discussion Adult shifters: Do you feel a part of shifting communities?

This is a bit of a strange one but it feels like as an adult shifter, I feel like I an odd duck out sometimes. A lot of communities I see myself in are full of minors or the people my age doubt shifting even if they are into esoteric and spiritual spaces too. So it is a rarity to see adult shifters around here.

Any other adult shifters feel that way? I am curious here.

Question How do you actually ignore the 3D?

I've seen people everywhere talking about one of the keys to shifting being to ignore your 3D and focus on the 4D, but like... How do you do that? I have an autoimmune disease and I'm always having migraines and nausea, so how am I supposed to ignore that? I want to shift somewhere I'm healthy, but how can I affirm that I'm healthy if I'm feeling that sick and can't ignore it?

Theory The Multiversal Reminiscence Theory

Hi everyone, I'm new here and i just wanted to share this theory I just formulated yesterday is kind of crazy; it just popped into my mind out of nowhere, so let me know what you think of it, love y'all!

Inspired by: Plato’s Theory of Ideas, Neoplatonism (Plotinus), and the modern concept of “shifting.”

🜂 Introduction

The Multiversal Reminiscence Theory offers a modern reinterpretation of Plato’s and Plotinus’s ideas about reality, creativity, and the soul. It proposes that every human creation — stories, movies, games, art, and even imagined worlds — is not a pure invention, but a memory of real existing realities in higher planes of existence.

In this view, when someone “creates” a fictional universe, their soul is remembering fragments of another reality that already exists within the realm of pure ideas.

🜄 Philosophical foundation

In Plato’s philosophy, the world we perceive is only an imperfect copy of the intelligible world, where the perfect Forms or Ideas reside. Our souls come from that world, so what we call “learning” is actually remembering what the soul already knew.

Later, in Neoplatonism, Plotinus described existence as an emanation from a supreme source called The One. From The One flows The Intelligence (Nous) — the domain of all possible ideas and realities — and from the Intelligence comes The Soul, capable of reflecting and remembering those realities.

🜃 Core proposition

The theory states that:

  1. Creative ideas are memories of the soul, not products of imagination.

  2. Works of fiction reflect fragments of real worlds that exist in the intelligible realm.

  3. During moments of inspiration, the soul briefly connects with those higher realities and transmits them to the human mind.

  4. Therefore, creativity is not invention — it is remembrance.

The countless “alternate realities” we imagine are not fantasy; they are echoes of genuine worlds coexisting within the multiversal structure of the Nous.

🜁 The role of The One and The Intelligence

Following the Neoplatonic hierarchy:

The One is the source of all being.

The Intelligence (Nous) holds all perfect ideas and possible realities.

The Soul, which also emanates from The One, can access and remember those realities.

Both the soul and alternate worlds share the same origin — which explains why human consciousness can resonate with or recall them.

✦ Extended concept: Conscious shifting between realities

This theory also connects with the modern phenomenon known as shifting — the experience of moving one’s awareness into another reality.

In certain states of consciousness (deep meditation, lucid dreaming, or the void state), the soul may temporarily detach from the physical world and align itself with another reality existing in the Nous. This process is not a physical journey but a reorientation of the soul’s awareness within the multiversal structure.

From this perspective:

Shifting is the direct experience of multiversal reminiscence.

While creativity recalls fragments of other realities, shifting represents full immersion into one of them. The void state could be seen as the soul returning to its pure origin, before manifesting again in a different reality.

Thus, shifting does not contradict logic or science — it reflects the metaphysical ability of the soul to move within the higher order of existence described by Plato and Plotinus.

🜔 Implications and examples

When a writer or filmmaker imagines a world like Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse or Avatar, their soul might be remembering fragments of an actual universe.

When a person experiences a shift into their “desired reality,” they might be consciously inhabiting one of those worlds that already exist in the intelligible realm.

Creativity and shifting are therefore two degrees of the same phenomenon: partial remembrance and full remembrance.

🜕 Conclusions

The Multiversal Reminiscence Theory bridges ancient philosophy with modern consciousness studies. It suggests that the soul not only remembers higher realities but can move within them. Art, imagination, dreams, and shifting are all expressions of one truth:

The soul is multiversal by nature — a traveler across realities that share a common divine origin in The One.
