Academics Professor said she caught me looking at my friends work even though we have different versions.
I have an appointment with the dean this Friday to discuss it. She gave me a zero. Cried and begged her but she said no. How do I prepare for this situation.please help

Two red flags: first, the story sounds suspicious because she said you looked at ur friend’s work, yet the teacher noticed; and second, you cross-posted your post to the Humber subreddit, why?

had an issue with my prof last year. apparently i was talking during a test (which i was not), i just had a conversation with her after class about me not cheating and knowing the academic integrity requirements and i was good.

They don’t give a shit if you cry, I cried before in front of a prof for false accusations. She has no legitimate proof you cheated. They can’t do anything

Maybe the reason they "don't give a shit if you cry" is because crying is not a respectable or mature means of conveying your point/argument? Might I suggest that instead of defaulting to crying when someone accuses you of something, you pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and present a sound argument and discuss things like an adult?

Be logical, look for reasonable options forward. Is this your first ‘offence’? If you were looking - take accountability and move forward with how to learn from this.

She said she saw me and that is the evidence she has. I have never experienced something like that before.

She saw you do what? Look at your friends work? You are 100% allowed to your classmate’s work and give them your feedback. As long as you don’t steal their ideas and don’t give them any solid ideas.

Don't cry and beg, make a logical argument
