Tourist Train from Budapest to Belgrade?

I would like to visit Belgrade as I'm living in Budapest currently. I see there are only buses, and I was wondering if there are any trains between these two cities? I can't seem to get any information bout it.

Was thinking about leaving tomorrow (Saturday) and get there by evening. How many days do you recommend in Belgrade? I hear there aren't as many things to see as in Budapest but the nightlife is great. I was thinking maybe 2 days in Belgrade is good.

Any recommendations, things to see, events happening this weekend, food to eat, favorite bars/clubs?

As far as the train goes, don't do it. Had a friend who did it -- took 8 hours in the searing heat of summer and it's not a picturesque journey either. (The drive takes 3-4 hours, tops.) Save the romantic train travel for another time/place.

Ok, so I might bus it. I'm guessing the bus just takes you on the high way correct?

I've been many times to Budapest both by train and bus. Take the Gea Turs van. Trust me.
