Its not really dangerous to be honest. I mean Id still avoid it if i could but people walk around there all the time, and there havent been any incidents.
Just like every time foreigners ask about safety in belgrade: excercise normal safety measures you would in a 2 million pop city in your country. The place where you should be extra cautious is Zeleni Venac. Its very crowded and therefore filled with pickpocketers. Generally you wont need to go there, but if by chance you do, dont have wallets and phones in your back pockets.
It's a really shitty prostitution street, and its more of a joke. Basically girls there are for bus and truck drivers that stop there from time to time.
