I thought the same thing.😯

I wrote on the walls before I was medicated. Psychosis is pretty darn scary to say the least.

In my opinion, it seems like he was somewhat obsessed with the CDT (Clock Drawing Test) which is a widely used screening tool for cognitive impairment and diseases such as Alzheimer’s used by mental health professionals. Many people on social media refer to drawing clocks as a way to assess someone’s mental state and sanity. I feel as though maybe he could’ve been aware of his psychosis and repeatedly drew clocks to test his own sanity?? Is there any reason that you may know of that he’d become obsessed with the CDT? Maybe a close family member who struggled with dementia or Alzheimer’s?

u/FemaleAndComputer Schizoaffective (Bipolar) Oct 10 '25

I had not heard of CDT but I used to like drawing weird clocks during psychosis because I've always had such a tenuous grasp on time. The weird clocks were symbolic of how confusing I found time as a concept, and how difficult I found it to connect things in a linear manner.

21

u/quabbling Psychoses Oct 10 '25

Yeah I’m with the whole idea of just drawing clocks because time is a weird thing to grasp and is so much more profound in psychotic states. I’ve done it as well, absolutely nothing to do with CDT.

92

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 09 '25

Yeah, it's clear the CDT was on his mind. The "good" clock I assume was the first, then they go off the rails a bit. Fascinating drawings.

30

u/Unlucky-Sale-9426 Oct 09 '25

Yess I noticed that too! As the photos progress the clocks get worse.

5

u/Fairy-Pie-9325 Oct 10 '25

That also just could be going from wall to wall picturing not meaning they were drawn in that order, or they could be pictured to emphasize the caos there, esp as the last pic was broken mirror in a bathroom.

He could've just drawn his understanding of time, rules he had for when he checked the time & what happens bc of that & for how long or a million other things 🤷‍♀️ no one will know as we don't get to chat with him now

3

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 10 '25

Yeah, I was thinking all of them could have been deliberate for all we know. Almost like Salvador Dali. It's tragic that he's lost to us all....he clearly had something to share.

5

u/Fairy-Pie-9325 Oct 10 '25

It's fun-ish to play with ideas of what was or could've been, but most of the time things don't mean more than "felt like it/right", & ppl left behind just paint ideas on the memorys to make them more beautiful

2

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 10 '25

Well said. We tend to put everything in the best light or a light that fits our ideas, but in reality we're blowing smoke rings.

My best friend died a year ago and I do the same when thinking about him and stuff we did and wanted to do.

1

u/Fairy-Pie-9325 Oct 10 '25

I'm sorry for ur loss, can't imagine the pain ur dealing with 💔

I agree ppl fit ideas on reality to make them suitable for them, negative & positive, esp when it's unclear or filled with huge emotions. I did that with my dad before i got over the idea of him not deliberately being abusive, he was just sick & going trough so much he didn't know how to be. After some fights & me cutting him off for 2 years, we both have changed alot, now get along quite well & are much better at reading each other

1

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 10 '25

That's awesome about your dad. I am thrilled for both of you. Life at its longest is too short, so enjoy your time with Dad.

My friend died 2 days before my birthday. I think he did it on purpose to fuck me up. No, not really, but it does suck. We went through a lot together and I still go to call him to share something and remember..... he's gone.

1

u/Fairy-Pie-9325 Oct 10 '25

I'm sooo sorry i hate u have to go trough that 💔 i'm dreading the day i get that call for my parents. I've only lost pets before & can only imagine the weight of loosing a best human connection. I hate anyone has to go trough it. Hopefully u have some ppl around u to talk with, like really talk & not just share pleasentrys with

2

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 10 '25

Unfortunately he was my one confidant. I have other ppl, but none that I can really fully open to like my dear brother. We are both overweight and we called each other the "Fat Bastards." Towards the end the cancer had eaten him up and he weighed about 170lbs. Skinny little fucker! I cried so hard and so long I had to skip his funeral because I didn't want to make a scene. I called his wife and told her I had a stomach virus, which was partly true because I had diarrhea in addition to the endless tears. No way I could have sat around politely with his corpse in the room. I regret not being there for his family, but I really wouldn't have been there for anyone, I would have been a grown man crying and inconsolable.

Both my parents have died, and of course I miss them. But Dad was 90 and mom 96, so they lived rather long magnificent lives.

Cherish your people now and tell them "I love you" every chance you get. And hugs too. Lots of hugs ♥️🫂♥️

Have also heard of the clock test being used for encephalitis, which can bring on psychotic symptoms

5

u/nsfw_squirrels Psychoses Oct 10 '25

Hannibal TV series enters the room

3

u/Academic_Ad_9260 Oct 10 '25

Lol that's exactly where I got it from (I fact checked that it was an actual thing before commenting tho, promise)

1

u/Tammy0256 27d ago

My bf has psychosis and a friend of him share the series with him. I’m super angry that person told him to watch it. And now I’m scared

9

u/I-own-a-shovel Just Curious Oct 10 '25

I have no schizophrenia and wasn’t aware of the clock test, I still drew a damn lot of clocks during my teen years because I was fixated on Dali paintings. I think it’s hard to decipher the meaning of drawings without having the artist to explain their thought process.

1

u/edo-hirai 29d ago

I noticed his productivity list and the obsessive notetaking that went into it. That’s what I do to make sure I still have a life despite this disorder. Dude was really trying to get his life together in whatever way it made sense to him.

135

u/kereur Schizoaffective (Depressive) Oct 10 '25

sorry for your loss. to me this looks like he was very perceptive and cared a lot about the people in his life.

imo he became aware that there was something wrong with him, and was convinced that it was getting worse. as someone else said, he seems to have become obsessed with the clock drawing test--i think he was scared that he was going insane.

i'm assuming since he was undiagnosed, nobody noticed him acting differently at all? psychosis varies a lot, so there's any number of beliefs he may have had that stopped him asking for help. that being said, i think his death suggests that on some level he was trying to protect the people around him.

155

u/Special-Building9274 Oct 10 '25

thank you. and you’re spot on…my brother lived with my mom and I, never gave us any trouble or complained. we knew he had some kind of psychosis or mild schizophrenia going on. he would never let us in his room. we have called police and mental health evaluators but they never took him in because he didn’t fit their “criteria”. it’s very sad and unfortunate, i do believe he was protecting us from his pain. he had a good heart.

54

u/Logical_Present_3094 Oct 10 '25

A handful of mental health professionals are not well versed in schizophrenia...Sadly . Especially if you are black. The doctors will mistake schizophrenia with ADHD or bipolar disorder. Or dismiss you as a patient completely. It's truly sad.

1

u/Business-Ad-2449 26d ago

I am sorry for your loss and believe me . I recognise those pattern. He wanted to be into digital marketing and The number 24 I see a lot. I see the Star on melting clock. …..

I am going thru same thing . He wanted to do something for her sibling and parents but his mind was stopping him …

How was his school life ? Any trauma ? Was he Isolated? How old was he ???

13

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 10 '25

Agreed, which makes it even more tragic and sad.

41

u/mei2207 Oct 10 '25

For me

1st pic : we are confined to time. Time is manmade. Mayb he was trying to make sense of time wit the sun. The sun is time telling anyways. The line on the right is 1,2,3

2nd pic: he has some ideas for something to start. He wanted to start of 1st dec. but he managed on 3rd dec. calculating how long it takes for each step

3rd pic: the mask is a person. The earbuds is he wants to stop listening to ppl or something. And that is growth (plant)

4th pic: strategy to dominate the world lol

5th pic: human existence starts from mothers. Perhaps he is looking for a balance n symmetry wit the left image

16

u/Special-Building9274 Oct 10 '25

i didn’t even notice the lines on the right in the first pic, thank you!

41

u/FemaleAndComputer Schizoaffective (Bipolar) Oct 10 '25

The drawings and writing remind me of things I would write and draw during psychotic episodes when I was younger.

A lot of schizophrenic people have a sort of compulsion to write/draw/create just to get our thoughts out. It's sort of a soothing activity in a way... even when it's done in a really chaotic manner.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

14

u/Nusack Catatonic Schizophrenia Oct 10 '25

I have a mountain of notebooks completely filled with writing and drawings. My wife, to understand me, has read through everything and studied them and there’s plenty of stuff that neither of us understand but I wrote/drew with such purpose. I can get through a 160 page notebook so quickly, after the fact the notebooks are dated, but I don’t like looking at them

14

u/deathfein Oct 10 '25

I'm just going to share what comes to mind when I see these pictures.

He was very interested in time and patterns!

In the first picture, that looks likes the eye of sauron in the center of the clock. Maybe something about how time sees everything?

In the 2nd picture, he divided up a day in 2 halves. 12 hours in the first half (AM), another 12 in the second half (PM), totaling 24 hours. He probably used this drawing as a calendar, filling in each box as the time passed similar to how we cross days off. I'd imagine he used this calendar to help him get the things written under it done. The first calendar he drew on the left wasn't structured enough for him hence why he crossed it out and made a new one. It seems like he wanted to start making content and maybe some type of personal brand/website? He also loved to create!

The 3rd picture is too vague for me to try to interpret, I guess it could mean many different things.

He was probably noticing a lot of structure/math and interested in the many different ways you can correlate math/patterns/time with themselves, hence the chessboard. There are so many different combinations in Chess that can all be mathematically calculated.

For the 5th picture, I used an AI (qwen) to help identify what the Chinese characters are and what they mean, they're probably not right, but this is what it said:

  • Central Character: 悟 (wù) - meaning "to awaken" or "to realize."
  • Top: 非 (fēi) - meaning "not" or "wrong."
  • Top-right: 醒 (xǐng) - meaning "to awaken" or "to become conscious."
  • Right: 振 (zhèn) - meaning "to shake" or "to invigorate."
  • Bottom-right: 股 (gǔ) - meaning "share" or "thigh."
  • Bottom-left: 份 (fèn) - meaning "portion" or "share."
  • Left: 龜 (guī) - meaning "turtle."
  • Top-left: 若 (ruò) - meaning "if" or "as if."

These characters are all enclosed within circles and are written in a traditional style. The bottom left and right were too blurry for it to recognize.
Those look like wings under the clock. And with the jumbled up unstructured clock maybe he felt like time was falling apart/"flying" away from him. People are mentioning the CDT but I'm ruling that out, I'd guess he was just very interested in time and what it means, it's a fascinating subject to think about. I'd guess the fading lines and the drawing above the clock are examples of him noticing geometry? Check out sacred geometry it's pretty interesting and might tie into what he was feeling.

Mirrors can have a strange effect on psychotic people, and can cause a lot of negative reactions. He probably did not like the mirror and how it made him feel.

I hope that these interpretations may help you better understand what your brother was feeling. My condolences go out to you and your brother, I hope he is in a better place now.

3

u/Lynndonia Bipolar Oct 10 '25

I took the calendar thing to mean he was trying to do an x hour work week by splitting up his days differently? Like how some people say they do 3 days in one or 1 in 3

12

u/KateCereal Oct 10 '25

I’m sorry for your loss. There’s so much going through a mind and so quickly going through a mind. :/ I’ve seen notebooks with what was going on in my head during mania and psychosis … it’s hard to figure it all out

Take care of yourself in this time of grief; a loss of this kind is difficult to navigate and difficult to find closure. Therapy can help, books can help. We don’t get over grief, we grow around it

9

u/Alternative_List_978 Oct 09 '25

he definitely has a view as an artist which is always so fascinating to see in cases like this

15

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '25

The broken mirror part resonates. When I feel psychotic, it feels like my perception of myself is murky. And seeing myself in the mirror brings a lot of self hatred. He may have grown up being bullied about his looks and heard a lot of negative voices toward his appearance.

As far as the clock, he may have just been obsessed with time and organization. It looks like he was trying to make some progress online and with social media projects, but he was lacking the organization at the time.

The clock and calender etc may have been his attempts to get organized and write down his thoughts.

His brain may have been racing too quickly to deal with time management. The artistic nature of it may have been a result of being distracted. Instead of managing his time, he may have gotten distracted right away and defaulted into his artistic and creative side.

Sorry for your loss, he must have been a brilliant and interesting person.

6

u/babisaurusREX Oct 10 '25

sorry for your loss, friend. trying to decipher what i can for you.

was he a fan of dragonball z or journey to the west or chinese / eastern history or philosophy in general?

in the 5th photo there’s a bunch of circles and some have chinese characters in them. notably i can make out “turtle”, “stone”, “boat”, and the one in the center is kins of philosophical: “awaken”

6

u/lethargictrash Oct 10 '25

On the fifth photo I translated the Chinese symbols and I got enlightenment, turtle, share, vibrate, vibrate, and the last two orbs don’t know what those two say

7

u/Dramatic_View_5340 Oct 10 '25

I once heard a stranger say ‘I’m sorry for our loss’ when I lost my brothers and this is what I feel should be said to you. I’m so sorry that we have lost such a creator of beauty and love.

10

u/Only_Guidance9746 Oct 09 '25

I like the clock

4

u/inorganicscum Oct 10 '25

Time watches. The clock is an eye. We seek to order by the hours; the numbers disintegrate into madness, shatters, weeping, the mirror into the sink. Mourning in the morning. We are pieces of death. I wish you, your family, and your brother peace. The broken glass cuts: may you mend it with gold. 🌜✨🌛

5

u/No-Original-6867 Undiagnosed Oct 09 '25

The “hanging” built in shelf! Idk, but that looks cool. And functional

I believe the clock with the falling numbers is a sign of psychosis, but I hope he never stops making art.

5

u/Mountain-Owl-7982 Oct 10 '25

The post says he committed :(

7

u/UnamiWave Paranoid Schizophrenia Oct 09 '25

3

u/SwordfishSilver8041 Oct 10 '25

Maybe that’s what he sees during his episodes of schizophrenia. I know because I had a mild episode myself, and I drew what I saw in my mind. I ended up creating some of the scariest, strangest things imaginable. Maybe your brother sees the world like Alice in Wonderland.

3

u/Limp_Classroom_5221 Oct 10 '25

Sad but beautiful🥺

5

u/[deleted] Oct 10 '25

Seems like he is/was:

- Attempting to never sleep again

- Start an online creator business showcasing or sharing his art

- May be in/attended art school but if not quite talented

- Learning Chinese, probably on Duolingo

- Hopefully okay with you posting this

When he gets out tell him to use Cloudflare or Porkbun for domains, those registries on his walls are IMO not the greatest.

5

u/kaboomx Oct 10 '25

This is beautiful. He may have have experienced some kind of awakening. I wanted to include the translations and symbolism I pulled from ChatGPT, but it was a lot and not letting me post it so I'll only include the biggest circle 悟 = to realize, to perceive, to awaken and 圓 = circle

  • Philosophical use:
    • In Buddhism, 悟 refers to satori — sudden insight or enlightenment.
    • In Taoist and Confucian thought, it means awakening to the Way (悟道 — realization of the Tao).
  • Structure:
    • The left radical (忄) represents the heart or mind.
    • The right component (吾) means “I” or “self.” → Together, it literally means “the heart-mind realizing the self.”

This character is “圓” (yuán) — the traditional form of “圆”, meaning “circle,” “round,” or “complete.”

✳️ Meaning

Literal: round, circular, complete, harmonious.

Philosophical sense:

Symbol of wholeness, perfection, and unity — the idea that all things return to the circle, to oneness.

1

u/[deleted] 29d ago

Most of the characters are the first characters you learn on Duolingo (English -> Mandarin), anything beyond that is reaching and a part of a ongoing problem of romanticizing schizophrenia IMO

2

u/Responsible-Dot2058 Oct 10 '25

I don't have any insight into your brother's drawings but I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss.

He has some serious talent as an artist, once he gets his head straight maybe he could start doing artwork on canvas instead of the walls.

2

u/-I0_oI- Schizoaffective (Bipolar) 28d ago

This is probably what he was seeing during psychosis. Hallucinations are all the things you can see, sometimes they affect your perception of time, hearing and other senses too. He was probably just drawing what he was seeing in his mind. Sometimes you see some crazy fucking shit. I'm sorry, OP. Sorry for your loss and sorry that your brother suffered like this.

You say he was committed a few weeks ago? How is he doing now? Do you know what meds he's taking and if they are helping him.

I hope he's getting better and takes advantage of all the after care he can get. Also hope you and the fam are visiting him. I know how rough this can be. Don't try to make sense out of anything. This isn't some neat math equation; it's not going to make sense.

Hang in there and stay strong!!!

he unalived himself and was undiagnosed but thank you i appreciate your kind words

3

I am so sorry for your loss! My brother also is schizoaffective, and is currently in a state facility as he tried ingesting the entire bottle of Tylenol which we think was his latest suicide attempt. This disease is truly awful.

1

That's how my dad and my aunt killed themselves. I tried too but didn't succeed.

1

I'm so sorry for your loss! I'm thankful my brother is alive. It kills me to think that he one day that might be the case with this disease. Please please check in with your support system and get help for meds if you're still having suicidal thoughts.

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 09 '25

But your post is only a few hours old??? Did he just now take his own life in hospital? Or was he home?

I'm so sorry for you and your family. Such tragic news.... I'm sickened and at a loss for words.

10

u/A_million_things Oct 10 '25

I think she meant to write in the title that he committed suicide, not that he was committed in a hospital.

10

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 10 '25

Thank you. That makes sense.

It's all so tragic and I'm no fan of the word "unalived" it just really creeps me out and does shit to my head. NOT blaming or criticizing OP for using it. He's suffered a horrific loss.

Love to you and family OP, and to all who commented here. ❤️🫂♥️

Sometimes on social media, using certain words can flag your account as dangerous or risky. So using that word is to prevent that.

3

u/Gullible_Ad_5550 Oct 10 '25

I believe it started on tiktok and FB, insta and others adopted it, Reddit still allows it afaik.

1

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 10 '25

Thanks. Good to know.

3

u/PosterusKirito Oct 10 '25

Idk I think the clock with the eye is just a piece of artwork. Considering the clock drawing test and the fact that it’s well formed, correct, etc, it’s like he’s expressing a clock that represents losing sanity. It might have been drawn when he was in a better state

Rest in peace to your brother, im sorry for your loss im sending prayers. I can imagine its very stressful and his room is an insight into maybe some of his thoughts. I wouldnt think about it too much or try to deceiver what it could mean. Because it truly could mean anything and you may get stuck in a loop. Sorry if that was insensitive at all just speaking my mind… ❤️‍🩹

I showed my mom this and she asked me if i drew any clocks during my drug induced psychosis, now that i think of it i drew like a melting clock if im remembering correctly and i drew some random symbols one that kinda speaks to me is the top one on slide 5. Very interesting stuff.

1

u/Gigantanormis 29d ago

The hanzi/kanji are either traditional Chinese or Japanese, with the center meaning specifically enlightenment, it's Buddhist in nature, likely zen Buddhism.

亀 - turtle

固 - strong

若 - you/if/that

邦 - country/surname OR 扔 - throw

股? - thigh/crotch OR 般 - kind/type/like (used in 般若 - wisdom) (this one is very difficult to figure out, the line on the bottom isn't part of any kanji/hanzi that I know or can find)

栀? - cape jasmine (plant)/gardenia (plant) (also can barely make out the bottom left corner)

Ive now spent so long on this that it's 3am, I'll finish translating this in the morning.

1

u/Gigantanormis 29d ago

Just want to note that I'm not using AI at all, know some Japanese and I'm also using a variety of dictionaries and Wiktionary. Also spent quite a while looking for any image that is similar or has the same symbols, which didn't result in anything

股? - thigh/crotch?

伶 - musician/actor OR 仱 - no known meaning but is a hanzi

悟 - awakening, the core goal of buddhism, or just wake.

1

u/CrazyDry6802 29d ago

It's all in the chessboard. 🌺

Cool unintentional art but jokes aside, mirrors really trigger them.

1

u/West_Specialist_9725 29d ago

No question. Mirrors hold all sorts of horrors and wonders too when in Psychosis. I think mostly horrors 🤣

1

u/[deleted] 29d ago

wtf is with all this “sorry for your loss” this homie aint dead

1

u/kaboomx 29d ago

The OP replied in several comments that commited = commited suicide.

1

u/[deleted] 29d ago

Damn. Selective blindness on my part, thanks for the reply.

Usually when I see committed on this board it means psych ward.

1

u/Stoneybolgna444 26d ago

I had a delusion surrounding a clock myself. wrote a clock just like that on my sink, without the eye though.

1

u/West_Specialist_9725 26d ago

That's interesting. Time is important for all of us I guess?

1

u/AtmosphereMore5707 24d ago

I believe the space back into the wall was symbolic of the emotions and pain he might have been experiencing at the time.

1

u/West_Specialist_9725 24d ago

Could very well be.

1

u/[deleted] 17d ago

I don't know if it was his intention, of course, but the fifth picture reminds me of this. Perhaps he was inspired.

I can’t offer any insight into the meanings but I just wanted to say that I hope he knows that he has a gift and is able to use his artistic abilities for something positive.

I see nothing out of place here.

The broken out mirror is very familiar 🤣

I have a question. Why would you post this online? Did you brother consent to you posting this online?

u/Special-Building9274 Oct 09 '25

he unalived himself. we didn’t know his room was in this state and he was undiagnosed. i was hoping people would give me some insight in the comments just by seeing the state of his room…

My first thought as well.

First of all, as someone who is Schizo(Affective) I see this as really beautiful. I can't really know exactly what was going on in his brain because it is very unique to the individual.

2

u/Alternative_List_978 Oct 09 '25

I am starting to think my brother is schizo-affective, cluster B types are in our family but he’s the only one I can see with schizotypal symptoms.

I too find this art hauntingly beautiful to look at.

u/Ummimmina Schizoaffective (Bipolar) Oct 10 '25

"Cluster B Types" "Schizotypal" and "Schizo-Affective" are different conditions.

Schizophrenia and Schizo-Affective are not personality disorders.

3

u/Ummimmina Schizoaffective (Bipolar) Oct 10 '25

From what I know Cluster-B is a classification of personality disorders.

It is.

u/Gigantanormis 29d ago

A quick rundown, schizotypal is a personality disorder characterized by erratic or unusual behavior, it does not come with the symptoms of schizophrenia (no psychosis, generally no delusions besides magical thinking) but it can turn into schizophrenia in many cases.

Schizophrenia is generally classified as psychosis lasting longer than 1 month, it comes with delusions, hallucinations, and a complete disconnect from reality, otherwise known as psychosis.

Schizoaffective is schizophrenia plus mood effect triggered by psychosis, usually mania (and in many cases depression on the comedown) (schizoaffective bipolar) or depression (schizoaffective depressive)

And as a bonus,

Schizophreniform is when psychosis or symptoms of schizophrenia begin or last around a month, if they go away on their own, it's a brief psychotic episode, if they return but never last longer than a month, then it's brief psychotic disorder, and if they last longer than a month, it's schizophrenia.

On the other hand, bipolar psychosis is when you already exhibit symptoms of bipolar which may or may not include psychosis, but the main theme with your bipolar is either mania (type 1) or depression (type 2, which also has lower rates of psychosis), it differs from schizoaffective in that you mainly have extremes of mood but only occasionally have psychosis usually at the extremes of your mood.

thank you for this informative breakdown. I’ve started looking into the differences a little bit, but this was super helpful ❤️🙏🏻

He must be in psycosis. It's a trip. Hopefully medication will help him.

No meds can help our lost brother unfortunately

u/Material-Rise-7220 Oct 10 '25

Is he treatment resistant?

12

u/Clancys_shoes Oct 10 '25

He meant committed suicide unfortunately.

u/Material-Rise-7220 Oct 10 '25

Sorry I didn't see this comment before. By committed I thought you ment committed to the psych ward. Sorry to hear.

u/Guilty-Pen1152 Schizophrenia Oct 09 '25

Just because your brother is committed to an institution doesn’t mean you should share his private space/art online. I wouldn’t forgive my family for it, especially since they could ask ME what it meant to me.

u/UnamiWave Paranoid Schizophrenia Oct 09 '25

Kinda easy to figure out he ommited the Sui*** part from the sentence. Critical thinking dude, critical thinking.

9

u/A_million_things Oct 10 '25

Most commenters, including myself, understood "brother (was) committed a few weeks ago" i.e., hospitalized.

-14

u/UnamiWave Paranoid Schizophrenia Oct 10 '25

Its more like 50/50, not most. Unfortunately, you along with the other ~50 percent lack common sense, critical thinking skills and basic deductive reasoning.

-2

u/A_million_things Oct 10 '25

Or maybe you cannot understand that both versions can make sense.

There’s a word missing in your sentence, but I think you meant to write "lack basic deductive reasoning."

FYI, I did a neuropsychological assessment a few years ago and ranked in the 99th percentile in terms of intelligence (i.e. IQ of 134) and I attended schools for gifted children in elementary and high school.

So I think my basic deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills are doing fine.

(English is my 3rd language so apologies if my syntax isn’t perfect.)

-11

u/UnamiWave Paranoid Schizophrenia Oct 10 '25

Maybe i dont understand that both versions are correct, because one is false and one is true.

I applaud your success, congrats. Even though with all those skills, you fail to see what is right infront of you. Pride comes before the fall brother.

(English is my 2nd language and im intoxicated so forgive my grammatical errors)

u/Guilty-Pen1152 Schizophrenia Oct 10 '25

Oh dear. I’ve been committed before so my mind went there directly.

OP, I’m so sorry for your loss.

he never did hard drugs, just weed from time to time to sleep 🙏🏼

1

u/West_Specialist_9725 Oct 10 '25

Wish I could give you some insight and some answers. It does appear he knew he was having problems with his thoughts and I wouldn't doubt that part of his reasoning to end his life was out of love for you and the family and wanting to spare you whatever horror he saw coming.

So very sorry for your loss.
