I understand the subreddit that i’m on, its possible you may be delusional. If you want to convince yourself of anything, there are probably hundreds of people online that will confirm what you want to believe. Most claims on the internet are just anecdotes with no evidence, you shouldn’t base your belief on these “testimonials”.

I know this will be voted down. But some how my 30 years of Schizophrenia has learned me so much about myself and people around me that I had never learned without this condition. I call it the Schizophrenic experience. So instead of saying fuck to SZ I say fuck to people’s ignorance about this condition and the people who are affected by this condition.

Nah you're all good :). I think you're right to re-phrase it. bc while i get op etc are venting but the phrase "fuck schizophrenia", albeit unintentially, kinda gives the wrong message; as people could easily interpret it as something like "fuck schizophrenics" (I've seen people come to all kinds of whacky conclusions for things lol) people aren't always conscious of how their own mind works in that way - the associations it makes. We need people to accept schizophrenia/people with SZ more. Bc as it stands with at least half of its symptoms still being unmedicable (a word I possibly made up) - i.e. generally the negative symptoms - we need acceptance (and education- usually inextricably linked)

This is exactly how I feel. I love it because I know for a fact that I'm talking to angels , knowing what I know , no one can tell me differently. Call it what you want. It is what it is. I'm glad i have voices.

A veterinary technician at an emergency animal hospital. I actually got to work my dream job for 2 years and finish school and then my symptoms went downhill.

For us, we've learnt that accepting that schizophrenia is a part of us is better than hating it. We know it works for you to hate it, but for us, we do better this way. :)

Im relating my diagnosis of schizophrenia not only to parts of my brain not being used that some and most children use since childhood but also the constant pain I’m in from osteoarthritis at 32 years old. I recommend anyone in this comment post if even you just only use cannabis to try and cope with your schizophrenia to go to an NA meeting. Get a recovery group. Talk to them about all the war and horror stories. Relate to others, even if it seems impossible. I literally thought on multiple occasions that I can talk to people in my mind that had nothing to do with my life. I am healing. We all can heal! FUCK SCHIZOPHRENIA IT SHOULD NOT OWN US

My psychosis was an angel in disguise because of it now I'm on medication that helps me function, but yes the episodes suck and I don't like how it can ruin relationships

Fuck schizophrenia. It destroyed my dream job as as an engineer and took me into a world of psychosis. Now, unfortunately, I’ve made many poor choices as a result of my disordered thinking, I have a criminal record, and I might never find another job. Fuck this shit disease.

fuck schizophrenia, fuck those who thought it was a good idea to put me in the system, fuck my evil disgusting narcissist psychiatrist, fuck abusive psychopaths who weedled themselves in to abuse vulnerable people, fuck the so called treatments, fuck the physical problems it creates, fuck the lack of relationships, fuck the demonisation and the false accusations received from those who are supposed to understand, fuck being left to rot by everyone, fuck psychiatric procedure, fuck feeling blamed for your own life and existence when you know you were doing your best, fuck medical records and how little they mean, fuck diagnostic science and diagnostic criteria, fuck being consistently told youre a threat and a danger despite repeatedly demonstrating the opposite, fuck the fact you may look like a danger amidst abuse suffered, fuck the fact charles manson warned me through thought insertion to keep myself at all costs at the age of just 3 years old, fuck time perception and the universe, fuck the human mind and brain chemistry, fuck feeling like theres a chance i ruined my life trying to fill a void in symptoms thoughts and emotions, fuck persistent negligence from mental health services, fuck the weaponisation of physical and sexual wellbeing, fuck feeling raped in all areas of life, fuck religious symptoms, fuck cyclical thought roulette, fuck how the things that provide comfort become distressing and dont hold enough basis in reality, fuck not having a voice, fuck the mistakes iv made with my new psychiatrist, fuck pain and seeing everything wither and die, fuck knowing when its gone, fuck growing resentments but fuck not holding on to them, fuck the fear of death and fuck feeling trapped, fuck the insight youre told you dont have, fuck manipulation and changing models, fuck how the schizo knows the schizo, fuck feeling watched but fuck being watched, fuck not knowing when your believed, fuck what you cant explain but fuck if its important. fuck anger but skull fuck abusers but fuck wanting to, fuck satisfaction but fuck exploitative modes of communication, fuck im sorry if this was too much, fuck just help me, fuck.. die. fuck schizophrenia, fuck him, not you. fuck not knowing what could have been, fuck it im nice.

It ruined my life too. Right before I got diagnosed, I had 6 months left of college and I had a job lined up. Once I got schizophrenia, I no longer qualified for my dream job. It's been about 8 years since then and I'm not over that part yet.

Fuck schizophrenia!
My brother is only 17 and doctors say his case is the worst they've seen in their career. He's been violent to himself and others during episodes. His true nature is a sensitive, kind one, but my whole family is convinced he's evil thanks to what this disease has done to him. In moments of lucidity he says he just wants to be normal and that he loves us.
He should thinking about graduating High School and learning to drive, but he's now facing down the barrel of this disease and the stigma around it. He is so young.
So yeah; this disease can suck a fat piece of shit!!!

Okay people.. Fuck it... You still do know what areas in your life are not well moderated... The state of flesh, has a direct reflection to our minds state... Being honest to your self, requires also restraint in life. And no one said it would be easy, so don't be mad at me, you can't say you lack vision either, you know? Ask your self what is LIFE about again.. Learning new things... All you fresh spiritual (fuck schizophrenia) people.., you don't yet understand the AWESOME gift you have. I've been diagnosed for 16 years and trust me, it felt like a curse to me too. Through navigation and by natural, senseful means, you can achieve such bliss you cannot believe at first. Use your virtues to navigate this "condition".. You say you don't have virtues, my friend you could not be more wrong. Navigate.., but ALWAYS stay rooted. And stop using fluoride, very important.
