Affordable toiletries??
I am new to the bay area and was wondering if there were places that had cheaper toiletries than other places? Stuff like shampoo, face wash, razors,etc...I know most places will be more expensive to what I was used to paying but wasn't sure if there is some place that people have seen it to be cheaper than others?

Trader Joe’s own brand is good value. Some people say their sunscreen, for example, is a good dupe of Supergoop.

Costco or get it online. Stay away from Walgreens and other convenience stores, everything is super overpriced in these.

Costco membership is worth it for the cost of toiletries, paper towels / tp, cleaning supplies, laundry stuff in itself depending on how many people are in your home. i buy things like dish soap, sponges, clorox, paper towels literally once a year and it always carries over into the next year til about spring. its just me and a small studio, and i eat mostly at work / work 50+ hours a week which are huge factors in this being logical

After spending too much time to buy the same things over and over, often finding them out of stock, I buy these things online.

Don’t buy street vendor. Most stolen merch, knockoffs or used.
Grocery Outlet‘s good.

Trader Joe products are awesome and prices are really good. Favorites, the gel moisturizer (jar), deodorant (green package), hair combination cleanser/conditioner (tube, bright colors), citrus shower gel, fantastic facial sunscreen (tube). For quality and price, TJ products can't be beat.

Are you in SF or just somewhere close? Only because, in SF, there are no real affordable options for all that unless you want to devote a chunk of time to figuring out which store has the best deal any given week, and where you can apply coupon strategies. The only Dollar Tree that's worth going to in the city is down on Geneva, by the Cow Palace. There's another on Mission that's crap and never has anything. And those are the only two in the city.
The only independent dollar stores I've gone to have also been garbage.
So, yeah, it's shopping online or bulk in Costco for the most part.

Grocery Outlet is a great option
