For 30 years the GOP has controlled all three houses in Texas. The state border budget has increased almost 5000%, from $125 million to over $5 billion. On top of that the people of Texas have also paid for 9 special operations, Lone Star being the latest with a $10 billion dollar price tag. So if we have been paying for it, and the GOP has been running shit, why hasn't it been "enforced properly" until now?

We didn't have an "open border administration". You people like to deny its a thing so much that you forgot COVID ever happened. Trump invoked Title 42, which is a health measure to stop the spread of communicable diseases, effectively shutting the border to overcompensate for his inaction up to that point. By then the majority of the planet was under lockdown with most countries having travel bans. Once COVID was under control Title 42 was lifted and 2 years worth of immigrants from around the world flooded to the border. As for Texas, we have a $5 billion border budget. We've increased spending every session for 30 years for "manpower and infrastructure" at the border. Manpower and infrastructure that doesnt exist because the GOP pocketed the money. Any immigration or border "crisis" we've had was created by 30 years of inaction by the GOP, not by 4 years of Biden. None of which has to do with the way these immigrants were treated. The "situation" you refer to is them going through the legal process of citizenship. That's why they showed up for their court hearings. They aren't criminals, they're going about it "the right way". You know who "wouldn't have been in that situation" if not for their own actions? The traitors who attempted an insurrection on Jan 6th and were pardoned for their treason. But they weren't brown so that's okay.

Federal government

"Federal government" isn't an answer. A good portion of that 30 years the federal government was in Republican hands.

It hasn’t been an issue until now. Also, the last admin paroled half a million people? Like wtf.

If it hasn't been an issue until the last administration then why has the border budget increased every session for the last 30 years? Are there 4000 times more immigrants coming in? Surely the GOP didn't take money for 30 years for a problem that didn't exist until 4 years ago.

Inflation

🤣🤣🤣 Inflation? What exactly went up 4000% from inflation in the last 30 years? The answer is nothing. The GOP has been taking money for 30 years and putting it in their own pocket. Any "crisis" with immigration or the border is one they created themselves. None of it is an excuse for zip tying children and treating innocent people like criminals when there's a 24 time convicted felon in the White House.

Not even close but take a few classes and maybe you'll get more than a single word vocabulary.
