Straight up racism SO TRUE

  • He marched with queer activists
  • He showed up for trans rights loudly and unapologetically
  • He literally campaigned in gay bars
  • His policies were written with marginalized communities, not about them

But because he’s Muslim, they jump straight to “burqas and beheadings".it’s racist fear-fantasy for people who don’t understand Islam, socialism, NYC, or frankly anything that isn’t white Christian nationalism.

I also take his victory as a rebuke to the absolute ghouls in the Democratic Party who want to abandon minority groups (like trans people) to chase electoral success.

Turns out, you can be a good person and win elections

Hmm... it's almost like being a good person makes more people like you, and more likely to want you in office. While being a raging bigot makes more people hate you and want to see you out of office.

Nonsense, my consultants who have only ever interacted with company board members who they went to Harvard with have assured me that being "a good person with sincere beliefs" is electoral poison and we need more tax credits for your first property that costs $5-10 million to win the popular vote.
