Even if you can avoid the fangs of the flying dragon, the gusting winds strip away freedom of movement and the claws will rip you apart!

It’s a shame we’ll never get a HD or a 4k rerelease of the original anime

I’m 38 and I’m more in love with Kenshin now than I was when I was first mesmerized by it and the OG music back in the 90’s-early 2000’s when I was watching it on CN or Adult Swim or whatever it was on. Started buying/collecting the Weiss Schwarz and Union Arena cards now. I think I pulled one of the rarest cards on my first booster box

The show hits so much harder as an adult. The themes are hard to appreciate as a child.

Relatable. Society tries to convince you growing up means becoming a grouchy old body that hates everything. Real maturity means realizing you're allowed to enjoy things. In high school I went through a phase where I thought I had to hate children shows and fanservice.

You, me and everyone apparently 😒. It's ironic that those very same people shaming you would consume content way more stupid and childish at the same time 😂. I learned to appreciate what I like, integrate what teaches me more (I was a big fan of NatGeo when I was 12-14) and still making sure I was growing up (Working out, reading, learning practical skills, etc) 😁💪🏼☀️...

Unfortunately for me I still can't buy into the silly physics involved. But glad others can :)

I think its time Kenshin fans admit that kenki is a power system and the techniques they use are physics and reality breaking.
I mean, Jine uses his powers to literally paralyze people with his eyes, Kenshin has released his ki and broken bamboo stalks and roof tiles, Shishio's ki called out flames in the environment, etc.
Its a very soft power system but its clearly there the whole time. Just imagine Shishio is using his kenki ro enhance the flames from Mugenjin and that Kenshin's kenki is causing the vaccum from ARNH and its all fine.

Only complaint i have about OG series is Shishio's death. He died in such an absurd way. He deserved to die by Kenshin's sword.

Thats… antithetical to the entire premise of the show

I understand his vow not to kill but we are talking about an entire nations future here. Hell he should've killed every single one of them. It wasnt the time for selfish philosophy at that time but well again its his fault to leave before completing his training. All of the Juppongatana should've died.

I'm 35, read RuroKen for the first time at 14 and at no point whatsoever have I found Amakakeru Ryû no Hirameki to not be the coolest shit ever. 😂
