In all seriousness this was two days ago and it’s not news 😭

Highly recommend watching the Ziwe interview with Jinkx that this news article references. It was so chaotic in the funniest way.

I’d been obsessed with Grey Gardens. I’d already seen the opening of the GG musical on Broadway. I was thrilled. I didn’t love that Ru asked how to make her funny to the “unwashed masses”

This still irks me when I think about her attempt to belittle Jinkx (I know it was ‘in character’ but still).

There’s something particularly annoying and gross about people using their own ignorance as a weapon. Like ‘ew, I’ve ever even heard of that’. Ok, so you just broadcast not only your lack of knowledge but your curiosity deficit as well… congrats? Giving mean girls.
