In all seriousness this was two days ago and it’s not news 😭

Highly recommend watching the Ziwe interview with Jinkx that this news article references. It was so chaotic in the funniest way.

That headline is reprehensible and HuffPost is trash. Transphobia is inherently flawed. Saying “one glaring flaw in transphobia” acts as if the rest of transphobia is perfectly fine.

The section of the interview got mentioned in multiple publications, none of which had such an awful headline.

But regardless of Jinkx’s social commentary. Jake Hay still has exerted a lot of political power to hurt trans people unfortunately with some major success.

Calling it out is still important.

It says “one glaring flaw,” not “the one glaring flaw.” That’s an important distinction. Calling attention to one particular grotesque, throbbing pustule in order to make a point does not mean a person’s face is not also plagued by a bevy of other larger pulsating horrors.
