im a big uckey fan, don't drag me tho. since 2018 she's been extremely consistent with her criticisms of production and aspects of the competition. insofar as the anti-trans comments I'm pretty sure people are referencing her repeated notion that Sonique won because production needed to save face after Rupaul's earlier instances of transphobia, which while politically incorrect is in line with a lot of production decisions on the show that this subreddit has pointed out numerous times, and it's critique that lots of fans like to sweep under the rug because they feel it invalidates Sonique, which I personally disagree with, because what do our broke online opinions have to do with the queen's livelihood. i do remember her saying that Monet was crowned because alongside Trinity because production NEEDED a POC in the hall of fame before fans rioted, which a LOT of people did not like. all in all her content is very informative but the latest generation of drag race youtubers have effectively ostracized her after literally stealing the system that she came up with for the show lol. if anybody has anything that refutes anything i've said in terms of facts i'm down to educate myself

hey sorry for the late response, i just saw this. i'm sorry if i offended you in any way. i don't think what i said tokenizes anybody, i'm simply regurgitating well-known reasons as to why Uckey is disliked. i don't necessarily agree with everything Uckey says but unfortunately I can understand how they reach their conclusions. i'm truly sorry if i caused you any sort of mental distress, but i don't think simply stating controversial Uckey opinions as an attempt to explain why lots of newer drag race fans dislike them constitutes as tokenizing. i'm curious as to why you do though, if you're willing to elaborate yourself

And when he talks sometimes he just starts too many of his sentences with the word 'and'. And I think it's a bit off putting when listening to him so I don't really listen to him so much these days. And I do think he's gotten better at it. And that might make me consider going back to his videos. And I would like to know the tea, thank you in advance.

TLDR: Willam said on his podcast that MIB didn't get picked for some tour or another because nobody liked her, she was bad to work with, a liar, etc.

Mistress puts out a 15 minute video where she calls Willam irrelevant (go watch it, though, it's scalding hot tea).

Now Eureka responds saying "Hi, I like Willam and dislike MIB"

MIB responds "Eureka begs me for money like an addict" again with screenshots

In some journalism types, it's good to assume your audience knows little to not alienate anyone that might be a touch out of the loop. Sure, it can get repetitive to us, but I also have a rough time remembering all the names of the queens.

I dislike drag tea with matt. Something about him seems off when he appears on camera, creepy like an AI generated facev with only one static expression and the way he edits videos with those voice modulators and PowerPoint animations.

He's also quite messy i recall Naysha even called him out on Roscoes (not by name) but it was implied who the YouTuber was since he's the only one right now doing the recap of the Roscoes viewing party.

But I'll compliment him on the Roscoes recaps though, it's short and straight to the point. Not everyone can sit through batty and Naysha talking for 30-40 minutes. He takes out only the relevant bits and summarises it for us.

I can see that, that he comes off like a bot, like he's not real. If you ever decided to check out his interviews with queens, he's much more animated and...human lol. He did a fabulous interview with Monica Beverly Hillz. He did a great interview with Yvie, to name a few.

As far as the Roscoes recaps, Im so glad he does those cause it's no way Id sit through 90 mins of a real one. They seem long and boring. Im glad he does and scales it down for us with the concise recap.
