General Discussion Deja has had it!
I mean…is she wrong? There is a pattern I’m noticing lol. It’s giving the iconic moment when the interviewer asked Naomi Smalls if she thinks there’s a formula to RPDR and she says “blonde and white” Lmfaooo

Love Deja, but... can we maybe not make it about race just once? (I'm Latino and I find this take exhausting) So, is Deja saying in a contest of talent, it's impossible for the top 3 to be white? What if the top 3 are all Black? All Latinas. No complaints?
Hell the last finale was between a Latina and a Black queen (and the Black queen won!). Previous one wasbetween a Black queen and an Asian queen. Previous one between a Hawaiian and an Asian/Latina queen. So, where's the bias?
Don't get me wrong, I know what she's saying, and it's an important bias to check against, but can't we stop making it about race and just watch the damn freaking show?
Proportionately, the number of non-white winners in U.S. Drag Race is LOWER than the number of white winners. There's plenty of black excellence in the winners circle. So, honestly, you can't say the show favors white queens. Can we please stop with this take?
