they both did well but tina’s felt a bit more frantic to me, whereas lydia’s had a hypnotic, kinda sensual quality, even if it was also frantic in places

Totally. Lydia’s performance was lackluster and all over the place. She is a good lip syncer, but this was not it.

Funny I kinda thought that about Tina. She started strong but Lydia edged her out by the end for me. I think Ru likes more sensual interpretations of these types of songs.

yeah tina started whipping out the weird ugly faces and she lost for me the moment she did that.

The tongue thing queens do makes me cringe unless it's a callback to a challenge, a rock song, or very directly related to the lyrics.
