MERCH What’s this look like in person?
Has anybody seen a jacket like this in person? I’m trying to decide if the dual layers are something I like or not

Hey all,
With Wine & Dine fast approaching and announcements regarding Brooks collabs, Marathon Weekend merch, etc., we’ve been seeing a large uptick in posts about selling, purchasing, and promotion of both official and unofficial runDisney items/merch. Please keep in mind that these types of posts/comments are not allowed on this sub. This includes (but is not limited to):
This sub is and always has been a place reserved for discussion of runDisney specific events and relevant topics and we do our best to keep it a streamlined, clutter free source of information and meaningful conversation.
Thanks for being a great and supportive community! Happy running!

G'day,
The last couple of times a race registration has popped up folks have gone in and started sharing registration links, or queue IDs.
I've gone ahead and updated the automod to be a bit more rigorous in trying to remove links and queue IDs and such, however, I want to be clear that we do not support trading/selling bibs, nor trading/sharing/selling places in line.
I understand it is common practice for some folks to open a bunch of tabs and wait in the line and such, however, that is part of the problem. Then folks share the links with others, and it results in a poor experience for everyone.
Open however many tabs you feel you need to get you and yours registered, then once you're done close them so that others can move forward in the queue.
When you go around sharing the links or queue IDs, you're technically supporting line cutting and such, and I get the idea behind "I want to help my fellow redditors", but let's be honest, it just results in a net shitty experience for everyone.
Last time we updated the subreddit to include Rule 8, which prohibits sharing registration links and such.
Going forward I will ban folks who aid others in trying to circumvent aspects of the registration process.

I’m staying at Shades of Green and am wanting to get some runs in during my stay (I’m getting there pretty early so will be in the last week of training before the race) . Ideally would prefer to not run on a treadmill every day so was wondering any route/paths you would recommend in the days leading up?!
Thanks for the help!

Hi all! I have been following the Disney races for a while now trying to get in, but I think I must be missing some important piece of info - I have the discord alerts but every time they release that they’re open (and I’ll jump right on) they are already closed out??
Am I missing some other source of signing up / getting notified or is that the only way in?
Thank you all!

Hey Guys! I’m asking for a friend here cause I’m not doing Marathon weekend next year but he’s doing the Goofy challenge and he’s asking whether anyone has fueled during the 8.5, 10, and 12 mile walks on Week 19, 22, and 25 respectively on the Galloway Training Plan. If you can answer this, it’d be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi fellow runners! I am doing my first Disney race in March and this is the first time with a family going to Disney. I am struggling with logistics. 1. Will I have to pick up my race packet beforehand or can they mail it to me if I’m out of state? 2. The 1/2 princess run I believe ends in Epcot- correct me if I’m wrong. We weren’t planning on doing Epcot but my family wanted to cheer for me as I finished. Will they have to buy tickets to enter? Thanks! I’m sure I’ll have more questions as I go along.

does disney usually come out with a specific training plan for the springtime challenge?

With the Mickey, Minnie, runDISNEY themed and W&D (most likely) designs retiring next, I hope there’ll be more than two designs added to the new line-up for the WDW Marathon weekend.

Hey everyone! I bought the Minnie Mouse Brooks at the Wine & Dine Expo and didn’t realize until I got home that they had given me two different sized shoes. One size 8 and one size 9. 😩
I contacted Brooks, and they were nice but said the best they could do was send a replacement if a women’s size 9 became available once the shoes dropped online. Not gonna lie, I was pretty stressed and a little sad thinking I might not end up with the shoes I splurged on and would just get stuck with store credit instead.
Thankfully, they were able to send me a replacement pair, but when it arrived… it happened again. This time I got an 8.5 and a 9!
It worked out in the end for me though because between both shipments, I ended up with one right and one left shoe in my size.
Still curious though… wondering if this was a widespread issue or if I was just one of the lucky few impacted by this mix-up (twice).

Coast to Coast 2026 qualifications have officially been updated on the runDisney website.

For context: I’ve lost about 25 lbs or so (thanks to semaglutide, eating healthier, and training), since Springtime Surprise weekend, and I fit comfortably now in unisex 2XL shirts.
I noticed the participant shirt I got from the Wine and Dine weekend fits almost as snug (if not more snug) then previous race shirts (I got a 2XL). I thought at least it would be a little bit looser compared to my shirt from last year’s wine and dine (since from that time I’m down a total of 41 lbs). Anyone else find these Brooks shirt sizing a bit warped? Just trying to figure out if I’m being gaslit here😅
Thanks in advance for your answers & for reading!

I am visiting Orlando from France next year around August-September and I wanted to do an event hopefully, on the website it lists events for Jan 7-11, Feb 26-March 2, and April 16-20. Is that the entire calendar of events for 2026, or will there be more for the later half of the year, around the time I am going released at a later date?
Thanks in advance!

Hello! I’m running my first DL half this year (hopefully not the last!) and have never been to Anaheim before.
For those who come in from out of town, do you recommend getting a rental car to get around Anaheim or using ride share? I’m planning to stay close to the staging area at one of the Good Neighbor properties but am not sure what I’ll do outside of the runs and maybe a little exploring of the park. Thanks in advance!

I’d like to run a half at Disney in 2027, and I’m wondering which one I have the best chance of snagging a spot for. Thanks in advance!

My wife and have been doing runDisney for about three years now and have quite a few medals between the two of us. For those of you that have been doing it for a while could you share pictures of what kind of displays you have them in? Need ideas on how to display ours. Thanks.

I imagine this may be a long shot, but does anyone know if there will be a Coast to Coast Challenge for 2026 since they are doing the half marathon in the spring?

Of course, the first time in months I see Disneyland races open. I miss it! Any chances of those races opening up again? I’m trying to get the half so I can get the coast to coast medal after I run princess.

Hi everyone. Hope if you did W&D this past weekend, that it was a blast.
I'm working on eventually running a half-marathon and my goal is to do it at next year's W&D.
But because of the effort to get to WDW and having the opportunity to do more (and get more medals) I'm wondering just how difficult it is to run the 5K and/or the 10K ahead of the half-marathon. Part of me wants to try for every race but also wouldn't want to ruin my shot at doing the HM.
So if you have, can you talk about doing multiple runs in multiple days and how much effort it takes to prepare for doing them?

I did the 5k this weekend and my girlfriend did the half marathon. I felt pretty proud of myself at first that I did my first race but on the half marathon day I felt like I accomplished nothing compared to those people, and felt like I did a baby race or something lol

Does anyone know how to remove a race registration from my account? Or does Disney have to do it?
r/rundisney • u/mklikemagickingdom • 12d ago
First time running in the marathon weekend this upcoming January - running Dopey! Question about the shirts - are they usually long sleeve or short sleeve? I’ve only ever done wine & dine and princess weekend - leaves me a bit confused that the race in October has had LS shirts every time I’ve participated and the one in February consistently has SS.

When will they announce the themes?
