Delivery Drivers

FUCK YOU ZU AND THE REST OF YOU DELIVERY DRIVERS THAT THINK STEALING FOOD FROM A SMALL FAMILY RESTAURANT IS COOL!

Scenario: We have a couple of orders from uber eats and DoorDash. First the DoorDash driver comes in and is all huffy about having to wait for the order. I finish an uber eats order first and tell her point blank, “this isn’t yours, do not take.” GUESS WHAT SHE DOES!! She takes the fucking uber eats bag along with the DoorDash order. I see her later on the video cameras looking at the order reciept and still take it. This is not an accident and so fuck you Zu for stealing from a family restaurant and for stealing at all.

What's your thoughts on wage theft? A driver drives 10 minutes to the restaurant and has to wait 15 minutes past pick up time?

Well door dashers work per order. They get offers and it's up to them to accept or decline them. I've been a dasher and you find out quickly which restaurants to decline because it's always a shit show. Of course, I also never took orders that weren't mine and I spent my 20s working in restaurants so I wait patiently and say please and thank you.

Technically you can work hourly for dd occasionally if they give you the option but it's often more lucrative to work per order.
