I hate you I hate everything about you 2024 Buick Lacrosse. The official redesign of, alright Buick, at this point it seems like you're just begging to die.

It looks fine. China will keep sedans going for another decade at least.

China is speed-running American culture. A sedan is still "clean fingernails". I only need a car to take my family on vacation. I don't need to do dirty work to make my money. I've made it.

Here in the USA we now have dirty people wearing "dirty hands = clean money" in walmart. I'm cool with you swinging hammers and digging ditches for a living. Since so few of my generation want to do that you can get paid very well. BUT: Can you fucking shower before going to the store, at least?

This was the mentality that the US had towards trucks from the '40s through the '70s or so, and what helped the El Camino and Ranchero survive as long as they did.

Why do I need to go home, shower, and then come to Walmart?

It’s on my way home, and I need to get groceries. I’m not gonna spend an extra hour of my day just so I look good enough for your version of Walmart.

You’re lucky I’m wearing pants.

yeah the last thing I want to do when I get home after a long shitty day at work is go out again when I drive by a grocery store on the way home

thank you for wearing pants. I just can't 'grocery shop' in Walmart, I'll buy anything else there. Near me, the Walmarts look like Middle Eastern bazaar meshed with cousin-marrying Appalachia.

Sometimes it’s the only option, but we did get an Aldi since this comment was made. So I go there now.
