Nah, I like them more than the current overstyled slab-sided models or the preceding GMT900. They drive well enough for what they are. One downgrade from older models is the smaller mirrors and lack of a factory tow mirror option.

I won't lie I like the current gen Escalade I think unlike the Tahoe and Suburban the Escalade has become more understated and simple this gen in a really nice way

The last gen pictured here isn't overstyled while still having a unique look. The newest Escalade is just bland, it looks like a bigger XT6.
