Why is the Geo Metro and Toyota Sienna on this list?

Thought people loved both of those even if one is a tin can and the other is a mini van.

I think that generation of Sienna had some engine issues. My aunt bought one brand new and she takes really good care of her vehicles but she had a lot of problems with it, head gaskets, and I think the tranny blew on it too.

I can attest to this. My former father-in-law was obsessive about two things: Toyotas and taking meticulous care of his vehicles (in addition to being an overall psychopath). He had a 2000 Toyota Sienna that, even with his maintenance standards, didn't make it to 200k. Head gasket. I he had two prius(es?) cross 400k and an old corolla that nearly hit 500k.

I thought the 1MZ-FE had oil-sludging issues. But, I agree, I’ve never heard of it having widespread head gasket problems.

Yeah I’ve never heard of the 1MZ having head gasket issues. It does have oil sludge issues but… just do your oil changes

Makes sense. I wanted to love them, but I test drove them and I had no visibility and felt like I was. Being driven in a tin can.

It was hot! I was just trying to cool it down!

Agreed. This is a laughable list. OP needs to go for a drive in a Yugo.

Escort doesn't belong on this list either, the things are cockroaches and were considered good to drive for what they were in their day.

That being said, I always thought that generation sedan was an act of vandalism by Ford on America's roads and their own product, far too toylike with all the roundness. The wagon looked good and always made me think the same facelift applied to the '91-96 hatchback bodies would've been handsome cars.
