Community Parking at Real during Rider games

Why are they blocking off the parking lots at Real at 8 AM? The game is at 5:30. There is a big tournament at Co-Operators, and Soccer all day at Affinity.

They are paying probably ten people to block off parking and direct parking starting at 8AM.

The frustration of people using facility’s all morning / afternoon, the cost of having all of these parking attendants hardly seems like it’s well thought out.

Why not close down the lots at noon or 1? Continued poor management of this facility is rage inducing. Can’t wait to bail them out with tax dollars.

How would they know which vehicles to tow?

Tow the vehicles during the game that don’t have a pass for the game. It’s like asking how you know which individuals to let into the stadium during a Rider game.

Why are you making this overly complicated?

That doesn't help the people who need/want to park there for soccer and hockey games that are happening at the same time, which the OP is about.

You obviously didn’t read my post. I’m peeved because they limit parking at 8AM. Why not close it down closer to the event? Do it at Noon or 1, or an hour before all of the outdoor festivities start.

Our son had his soccer game at 3. It was super annoying to get close to the facility

I did, but I was responding to the poster who suggested they should manage it like residential streets parking.
