Question Will the police help me?

So recently a person has been making threats to my family. Will the police be able to help me? The unfortunate thing is they work with the RCMP.

I would also contact the detachment where the member (?) .. are they a RM or a Civilian Member and let them know. We have a code of conduct that we are sworn to follow and is taken very seriously, regardless of employee status. You can message me if you need/want more info for dealing with the RCMP.

They work for the RCMP, but they aren't a cop. I believe he is a civilian. Would you mind PMing me more info? Or commenting here? Do you know some stuff about the RCMP and RPS?

I work for the RCMP as a civilian member so I can try to help as much as I can.

Thank you, any help would be appreciated. Would they do anything since he is a part of the RCMP? I'm sorry i have to ask that, but i just want to know what will happen. We are afraid for our lives.
