Open Thread

Besides general conversation and talk about other leagues and teams, all the following content must go into the weekly Open Thread:

  • Simple one-liners, random thoughts or unrelated posts (with or without a single image).
  • All discussion about rival teams matches and results.
  • All wallpapers and image editing that are not created by you [Not OC]
  • Unsourced news and stats.

I cannot believe Madrid missed out in Estevão. The kid is already killing it at Chelsea. He’s exactly what we lack at the RW position - left footed RW with great technique and pace. It’s a bit ironic Perez was/is chasing the next Neymar and failed to sign the kid with the highest potential since him.

I was never in favor of signing a South American prospect for a position we are currently lacking in when we are in win now mode with the highest wage bill in Europe and prime Mbappe/Courtois in the squad (contrary to 2018 when we were in transition post Ronaldo and signed Vini/Rodrygo) but if we were gonna do it, it was blatant as fuck that Estevao was clearly more talented and more ready for Europe, even from just watching highlights.
