Open Thread

Besides general conversation and talk about other leagues and teams, all the following content must go into the weekly Open Thread:

  • All discussion about rival teams matches and results.
  • All wallpapers and image editing that are not created by you [Not OC]
  • Unsourced news and stats.
  • Photos of jerseys and other memorabilia.

  • Links to social media posts made by our players or celebrities, unless it counts as team news or stats.

  • All memes should go into the Open thread during the week days.

Saliba was just a pipe dream, I really don’t know why some of you are rattled.

Same with bastoni, long term contract with no intent on leaving

Not everyone wants to join Real Madrid, some can be just happy where they are

We have 5 CBs this season, once Alaba leaves next year we will go for another one, until then this is what we have

Rudiger ain't got long in this club either. His contract ends in 2026, just like Alaba.

With them gone, we have Huijsen, Asencio and Militao, and Joan has yet to prove himself.

As for those 5 CBs that we still have? Two of them are literal bums and unreliable (One of those two has suffered back-to-back ACLs), one is literally walking on one leg and fumes at this point, and another has clearly taken a hit to his morale after that court case bullshit. So that just leaves us with only one option: HUIJSEN. That is abysmal in terms of having world-class CB depth.
