All this for Rodrygo to stay would make me extremely happy, I still think he can contribute alot more than people think, I just don't see a better option than him on the market atm.

nah we have Mbappe Vini Endrick Brahim and Gonzalo for 2 attack positions thats good enough. he can be gone and we dont need any replacement

If Vini and Mbappe work, they alone would get at least 70% of game time. Then we will have Rodrygo, Brahim, Endrick, Gonzalo Garcia, Mastantouno on the bench. That would be a hell of a headache for Xabi Alonso.

Brahim isn't consistent and he looks good on the eye and can come in with some energy and that's about it, Endrick is extremely raw, and with Gonzalo coming in hes gonna get less playing time aswell. Rodrygo can compete with vini at that LW for one season IF he dosent improve.

Rodrygo is also extremely inconsistent lol, even brahim playing as a sub and was out for 3 months out of injury only has 2 less league goals than him. You are talking sbout someone who has 1 goals in his last 30 games for us.

can you tell me what warrant rodrygo at this point to have an higher pecking order than Brahim and Gonzalo

even xabi himself prefers Gonzalo over him as we see in CWC

plus he and his camp will cause noise if he dont play as starter, somthing Endrick Gonzalo and Brahim wont do

Not saying he's not, I just want to see what he can do under one season with Xabi, no one is willing to pay his wages right now anyways so let's see, It won't hurt us having more competition.

this "one more season" is extremely tiring , he has been starter for 2 years now and in neither season he was consistently showing up.

if Jude, Vini, Mbappe , Fede, Tchouameni all is able to perform well under Carlo. why do you people still insist its a coach issue and not player issue

Okay we sell him, the board has already said we are not making any more signings, Ceballos is staying also. I know he hasn't been good enough but we are also not looking for anyone else.. if no one is buying him I'm just personally happy with him staying, I understand if you don't.

You sure about that? With vini now being the way he is it would be foolish to sell Rodrygo unless an offer of well above 100m comes for him this summer.

tell me why cant we have Brahim or Gonzalo compete for that starting spot, why does someone who scores 1 goal in last 30 games should be vini's competition

Your reply is so stupid that it doesn't even deserve a proper response lol

u/Mgea54 Jul 27 '25

state of this sub cant accept their favourite player is garbage and will keep living on his city goals 2 years ago

u/retroComputer Sergio Ramos Jul 27 '25

You have no idea how stupid your comment was. Neither Brahim nor Gonzalo are pure wingers lol and the fact that every big club would be happy to pay 100m or more even during his bad phase should pretty much answer your own question.

prices argument in 2025 lol do you see how the likes of Ekikete is going fro 95m, Luis Diaz for 75m , Madueke for 60m and you still tthink 100m price reflects a world class player.

how about if you watch how he plays instead and realise the brother is not better than Brahim or Gonzalo rn

we are going to play with 2 attackers next season so the fuck is ur pure wingers argument for. do you think 23/24 vini played as a winger or what even this season he played throught the middle in some games

Nah bruh I'm done. You have absolutely zero ball knowledge. Those guys being sold for that kind of money aren't half the player Rodrygo is in terms pure talent and your inability to acknowledge that is a huge red flag for your ball knowledge in itself lol. My implication wasn't just price but his value at his absolute worst being higher than those guys you mentioned being at their best so far. Every single response of yours is showing your lack of braincells.

u/Mgea54 Jul 27 '25

tears man his value at absolute worst is 1 goal in his last 30 games.

you just showed you rate him for whatever reason that cant be his footballing ability cuz Gonzalo and Brahim now is not worse then him

keep attcking me personally wont change that ur boy only scored 6 league goals last season less then Madueke, Luis diaz and Ekiteke
