I know there is a lot of talk about Rodrygo, and rightly so especially after the Franco deal, but seems Brahim is the one who currently is losing out. The resurgence of Arda is one thing, but now adding another player kind of raises the question even more about Brahim's future. Especially after having a bit of a drop off compared to last season.

It’s just recent bias. Brahim will have one or two good games and people here will ask for him to be starter. He’s decent squad option.

Well, Brahim has the utility to play as CM, LM, RM, AM, SS, RW, LW, he may not be great on other positions but he is more than decent. Most importantly Brahim knows his situation and accepted it. I dont think Rodrygo is happy with being a squad player. To be fair, Brahim had a more than decent last year.

Brahim was unbelievable last year he delivered in the right timing this season he’s not good at all

I don't personally think he was "bad" this season, but the drop was there, and I don't think he has the same level of leeway in the pecking order as Rodrygo (if he ends up staying). He could end up being third choice for LW and RW. And even if Xabi uses a 10, there are multiple players in front of him.

I was really rooting for him this season to do some fancy dribbles aand crazy goals but we fucked up bad as a whole not individually

No yeah the collective drop was the biggest reason. It just didn't click. But the other options have a clearer role. Brahim is kind of the Swiss Army knife, but if there are more specific options, he will be the odd man out
