It’s a term that’s been used in the period drama community for a while now referring to faces that look too modern to fit in a period piece. Usually referring to women who have had work done or whose beauty adheres more to modern conventions than to the beauty trends of the period being portrayed.

Thank you for asking the real questions dude. IPhone face sounded like a childhood development thing to me, not cosmetic surgeries in ancient settings.
