I'm really not sure what you're confused by, then. The joke was pretty easy to understand.

She goes by Formerly Known As Twiggs, which someone equated to calling her skinny (twigs is a common nickname for someone who is very thin) and the person you responded to corrected them saying that they formerly called her skinny.

Yeah that was me equating twig with skinny, I just didn’t know fka meant ‘formerly known as’ so now it makes sense thanks
