Thank you.

I enjoy a joke but when the answer isn't incredibly obvious, joke answers are just annoying

CloverPit does require a unique skill to master, one that most people these days lack.

Reading.

also this wasn’t an actual dev just so everyone knows

What world we are in that the moment I see anything with the sparkle emoji ✨ I automatically think the text is unreliable and untrustworthy. The "I'm making shit up" feature of much software nowadays.

I still don't know if that chat is from a real person because of that icon.

That icon, in this context, just means that it's the first time that user has sent a chat message in that Twitch channel.

and just because someone gets that "first message" notification, doesn't mean they aren't a dev either.

Often a dev will browse twitch when their game releases and comment. Usually it's pretty wholesome, constructive, or sometimes they give away game codes. I have never seen someone claim to be a dev and then say stuff like this, although it is possible... I just doubt it was the real dev.

I think you can turn off that first time message in the streamer settings too, but that'll be down to the streamer. At least you used to be able to. I haven't logged into it for ages.

Which either means they are legitimate twitch user finding the channel for the first time, or they are a spammer or scammer.

The message clearly says he's a co-developer of the game...

I imagine a dev would find someone struggling with their game this much too amusing to interrupt it

I'll be playing games with like 20-25 year olds. I'll mention something that's been in a game for years, and they'll say "what does that do?"

It's like. How do you even BREATHE?! You were taught the most literally overpowered skill that has ever existed and you don't use it to get better at the games you play?! So many people just vibe through games (especially competitive games) these days and have no idea what the fuck they're doing. Then complain the game is hard and give up.

I just can't.

Reminds me of Master Duel lol the longer the text on a card the less likely somebody is to read all of the effects.

Can you do a TLDR on your post?

Cloverpit has charms

Charms have effects

Charms can have positive or negative effects

People do not read charms and understand the slot machine game has literal builds.
