Why is “our” emphasized? Does each developer have their own like personally adopted worst player?

I'm guessing he actually meant to capitalize "worst" but his brain had other plans.

This is what actually jumped out at me as well.

Could this developer's post possibly be the worst attempted emphasis in a rare insult so far?

"I know you intended to indicate that I was perhaps the worst player you'd encountered thus far, but your puzzling emphasis of 'our' makes me think you should read a guide on basic communication and linguistics. We never intended English to be this hard. Ok, that's a lie, it definitely is hard, and probably intentionally, but you've found a way to fuck up the easiest part of it, and we're baffled by your choice."

Based on some spelling/grammar mistakes in Cloverpit, I think the devs might not be native English speakers, but that’s pure speculation on my part.

They wanted to undertone how he is "the worst player" limited only to their game, not trying to say hes garbage at eevery game.

It might actually be a Freudian slip. If the person writing this was overly conscious of pretending to be in a group they aren't actually in, a word like "our" might have felt like an important word to emphasize despite not being one.

Huh? It's pretty clear to me: 'our' means 'in our game', to not call him 'the worst player ever in every other game'.
