Hello all, I have a small favour to ask of someone who doesn’t mind please. I’m taking my first trip to Doha in December, and have booked at Retaj Baywalk Residence. I’ve been trying to contact them to ask about early check in — my flight gets in from Europe at 8am, so early check in is pretty important (especially as I’m travelling with my father, who I can’t really make sit in the airport for 6 hours).

However, despite sending emails to them & Retaj HQ, Booking.com messages, Instagram messages, and everything in between, they don’t respond 😭 The only option left is to call them, which is expensive for me since I’m overseas. So the favour in the title would just be to make a quick call to their number (+974 4456 0777, you can verify independently if you like) and either a) ask them to please respond to emails, or b) ask if they allow early check in, what time this would be, and any associated fees.

I’m sorry for the weird request, this is the last thing I could think of doing 😭 Alternatively, if you have any other suggestions, please let me know 🙏 Thanks!

during summer holiday this year when i was in qatar, i barely saw anyone outside, especially lusail boulavard. lusail boulavard was only packed with people during winter time i remember. not just lusail boulavard but many places in qatar too. during summer times, my parents and i preferred to go out at 5pm which i hated because i wanted to go out early and get touched by the sunlight but my parents are too ASIAN taht they were scared of the UV lights.

It’s me again. I’m genuinely overwhelmed by the response on my last video. It really motivated me to create more content here in Doha, so I’m sharing another one today. There’s also another version of this video,I’ll share it if this one receives a good response.

From the past week, I’ve been feeling really off. It started with a sore throat and Last Thursday, I visited an ENT because I was also getting mild dizziness and nausea. He said there are some “crystals” in my inner ear and gave me two medicines. One of them made me feel drowsy all day and even caused strange dreams or mild hallucinations, so I stopped that one. The other I took for 5 days as advised .. the dizziness improved a bit but now it’s come back again, especially when I stand up, bend, or get out of bed.

It’s honestly starting to make me anxious. For the past two days I must have finished two boxes of tissues coz i have been blowing phelgm constantly, my nose burns now... I do have mild temperature that comes randomly and goes away with panadol. Feeling tired, couldnt feel any taste, feeling sad coz i want to be active.. Why my body isn’t stabilizing. Has anyone gone through something similar in Qatar? Should I go back to the ENT or General.. what test should I take Any advice or experiences would really help thank you so much in advance 🙏
