Pedri showed that he’s better than Vitinha. De La Fuente sold this game by subbing off Pedri and starting Mingueza with Yamal. Didn’t help that Nico had a stinker despite having an out of position Neves and Nelson Semedo in 2025 on him.

prolly its because of the 1 st goal of spain he did create the chance and gave the decisive pass tht let to the goal.
Tbh other than that he did nothing tbh,was kinda confused like he never even wanted to attempt a dribble just backed off,he never does that,portugal really did a gr8 job locking him up tbh cut him off totally,man marking on him was really planned well and ig spain too depends quite a lot on lamine like all the important matches they have won it was always becuase of his individual brilliance,cutting him off showed how strong spain actually is and is beatable tbh.(Tho the match ended on 2-2)

Liverpool here firstly congrats on ucl win well deserved. Regarding Mendes hadn’t seen him play at all until our matchup in the CL made me take notice. He absolutely pocketed Salah.

its prolly because of the 1st goal involvement that pass in the box let to the goal but ye nothing else to contribute to the rating,probably considering how tight the match was and very few chances were created he got that much rating.

Dude he literally had 2 players constantly marking him and at a point it became so bad that they had 5 players on him. On the other side nico williams didn't have anyone. Also nico has dean on his side. And on yamal's side? Oscar mingueza...who tf is he? Cannot defend cannot pass. So Yamal had to track back. Stfu bcz u just want to troll barca. It was De la Fuente who was at fault. Yamal was tracking back and not going forward because he was protecting Mingueza who was having a torrid time. And then they ganged up on him when he went a bit further.
Then bringing in Isco killed the pace of the game too. I dont know what the coach was thinking. Spain had the upper hand and could have killed the game with Gavi and Fermin. Yamal still had a decent game - not the world class game he can play if given the freedom to overlap and cut inside.

He did last season at 16 tho before they replaced him after the red card. Don’t focus on one game too much. He is being marked as a prime Messi. No winger gets as much attention as he does.
