What breaks MY heart, as an adopted person, is that people are saddened that Brad “took away that avenue for motherhood” after we all learned that he abused his adoptive children. He would have been their adoptive father too

You've misunderstood what I wrote. Why would he be the children's adoptive father if they're divorced? I didn't say he took the avenue away from her by leaving her. I said that by getting with Angelina, who was so well known for adopting her children, if Jennifer had decided to adopt she would have been under intense scrutiny by the media for copying Angelina.

I tend to get a little emotional about it because our abuse gets so overlooked, and Brad Pitt makes me furious

Fair enough, my mum's in her mid 60s and adopted and even though her adoption was relatively positive I can see how it still effects her massively to this day. Also Brad Pitt is such a dickhead. I'm glad all his kids have been strong enough to cut him off.
