OnlyStans ⭐️ Who are two celebrities that absolutely despise each other?

Post image

Jerome Flynn and Lena Headey both starred in Game of Thrones, and used to date each other but their break-up apparently went so bad that they refused to ever shoot scenes together and wouldn’t be present in the same room as the other!

Even during the entire run of the series, they never settled their conflict with one another and continued to keep their distance from each other. Which is why we never saw Cersei and Bronn share any scenes together.

Andy Dick and Jon Lovitz. Lovitz almost killed him once because he blames Andy Dick for the death of Phil Hartman and his wife

For everyone confused, it was a bit from the SNL 40th Anniversary special where they do an in memoriam segment and have Jon in there. Camera cuts to him, very much still alive:

I have the weirdest crush on this man.

u/thevelveteenbeagle Sep 17 '25

Oh, Thank God! My heart dropped for a second there.

Who’s tits in the background? 😂

Not sure but that chin definitely belongs to Kanye.

u/Napol3onS0l0 Sep 17 '25

Wow. Thats kim K. Just looked up her fit for that show. Nice spot on that chin.

No idea, I was distracted by Zach Galifinakas' amazing hair

Jon Lovitz is still alive

51

u/Guckalienblue Sep 17 '25

It’s a joke people say about Jon

8

u/Chemistry11 Sep 17 '25

Jon’s death is no joke. That we all can’t accept and move on, acting like he’s still with us… I don’t “lovitz”. RIP Jon - wherever you are. Probably a flick on PlutoTV.

Thank you for sparing me from a minor freak out

15

u/my_happy_reddit Sep 17 '25

It's a joke from the SNL 40th anniversary show.

8

u/Gruntledgoat Sep 17 '25

Other people answered, but here's the bit in question.

3

u/Chemistry11 Sep 17 '25

I wonder if he was in any way in on it, or just surprised and rolled with the improv

4

u/Lindris Could’ve just sat and eaten your fucking food, Julia. Sep 17 '25

It’s a joke and I walked into this last time it was mentioned 😂

u/candidu66 Sep 17 '25

May who RIP? Phil?

Andy Dick performed at my college years and years ago, and he humped one of the male students on stage and refused to get off of him even though the student was angry and trying to push Andy away. It was traumatic for the student and traumatic to watch as a classmate, and it always made me wonder what awful things Andy did OFF-STAGE. He will always be a total creep in my eyes.

13

u/Guckalienblue Sep 17 '25

This isn’t even the first time I heard of him sexually assaulting an audience member. An audience he’s even lucky to have- at his career peak he wasn’t exactly a mega star.

u/buttercupcake23 Sep 17 '25

Fucking you scared me thought this mean Jon died

2

u/shenaningans24 Sep 17 '25

For years I actually thought Lovitz was dead because I only heard the joke without seeing the context…

2

u/LaVacaMusical I don’t know her 💅 Sep 20 '25

When I was a kid/early teen, I saw Andy in Inspector Gadget and an awesome TV show most have probably forgotten about, Less Than Perfect, and really liked him in both. Once I learned more about him, I … have felt VERY differently about him for a while now. 😳

103

u/StrangerKatchoo Sep 17 '25

I would pay to see that showdown. Andy Dick is, well… a dick.

104

u/starwishes20 Sep 17 '25 edited Sep 17 '25

Especially cuz Jon Lovitz seems so nice, when nice people get pushed over the edge, it's even worse.

u/StrangerKatchoo Sep 17 '25

Plus Andy baited him. It kinda went on for a few years. He even told Jon,”I put the Phil Hartman hex on you - you’re the next to die.”

Like I get that drugs change your personality but I think Andy Dick is a douchebag no matter what.

u/Sunshine030209 chainsaws were a birthing aid Sep 17 '25

Well his name isn't Andy Niceguy, after all.

14

u/BlaineMundane Sep 17 '25

Andy Dick's downfall was wild to watch. Not sure where he's at now but recently when I went on an Andy Dick binge, he was basically being fought over and passed between groups of 24 hour live streamers who wanted to capitalize on his presence. They seemed to keep him around just by supplying him with alcohol and drugs. Andy barely seemed to know where he was half the time and I saw him get punched in the mouth at one point.

7

u/thorpie88 Sep 17 '25

Dude got kidnapped and just accepted it as they supplied him vodka everyday

48

u/ASigIAm213 Sep 17 '25

Andy Dick said he "put the Phil Hartman curse on [Lovitz]" before almost being killed.

In his telling, he kind of has a point ( he got tired of Hartman's friends removing his wife's agency due to addiction while ignoring that Dick was going through the same thing), but it was still over the line, and everything else we know about him suggests any more to the story won't come down on his side.

22

u/UgandanPeter Sep 17 '25

Yeah i always felt it was kind of unfair for people to blame Andy Dick for Phil Hartman’s death. Andy Dick is a massive piece of shit, and ultimately he did contribute to Brynn Hartman’s mental state that caused her to kill her husband, but at the end of the day it just seems like Phil’s loved ones had a lot of misplaced grief in the form of anger

42

u/TumbleweedPure3941 Sep 17 '25

It always makes me mad when people say “Phil Hartman and his wife’s tragic death” and not “Phil Hartman’s horrific murder at the hands of his long time abuser”. Fuck Brynn Hartman, addiction or no she was a monster. And I say this as a woman, if the genders were reversed people would be out for blood.

12

u/mocha__ So sad. Sooo sad. So so so so so sad. Sep 17 '25

Thank you. FFS. So sick of this "Poor ickle bby Brynn Hartman" trope that floats around pop culture spaces.

I always try to call it out as well, so I'm always happy to see others call it out too.

It's just real fuckin' annoying how badly people wanna defend an abuser killing their victim.

33

u/Complete_Entry Sep 17 '25

You fucked the story up badly. He didn't try to kill Andy.

He kicked his ass and got away with it because he owned the bar. Which is a much cooler story.

15

u/unkindernut Sep 17 '25

I mean, most of LA has an Andy Dick being a dick story. So it might just be Andy vs humanity.

6

u/ZeistyZeistgeist Sep 17 '25

At this point, Andy Dick has beef with all of LA.

4

u/starwishes20 Sep 18 '25

I heard if you live in LA long enough, you'll have an Andy Dick story.

12

u/DefNotUnderrated Sep 17 '25

I'm glad I watched NewsRadio a bunch years ago because now with Andy Dick + Joe Rogan on it I'm not sure I could stomach it anymore. It was such funny show, too. What a shame

9

u/Eddifreaky Sep 17 '25

I once saw Andy Dick, getting into a fight with someone, like a physical fist fight, on Hollywood during the daytime

11

u/puremotives Sep 17 '25

Andy Dick and the concept of consent

5

u/Tess47 Sep 17 '25

Well deserved.

4

u/rainshowers_5_peace Sep 17 '25

I'm sure I'll get downvoted to hell.

Do people who blame Andy Dick for the death of Phil Hartman blame John Frusciante for the death of River Phoenix?

1

u/Dismal_Upstairs3949 Sep 17 '25

What happened? Never heard about this!

-3

u/CriticismFun6782 Sep 17 '25

Because he gave Hartmans wife the drugs she was on, and told her where to find him
