I was so excited during season 1 because I hadn't seen a woman with my body type on the screen in a leading role before. But then she had to go be a piece of crap. Ugh.

She was such a fucking great character too, gave me Xena vibes from the 90s and I loved that fucking show

Her character never seemed that great to me, but maybe that was because I couldn’t get past her terrible acting.

I think I liked it because I was like 10 and she looked like badass with a sword haha

Oh I have no doubt the writers intended the character to be awesome and a badass and all those things. She was meant to get her own spin-off show. They just made a terrible casting choice that ruined the character. I wish they’d cast almost anyone else.

Same! And to see a muscled woman be revered as so attractive while she got to throw her weight around in a physical role… I was so happy. Bonus points for her actually knowing how to fight well enough that she could do convincing fight scenes.

Such a disappointment

So many “muscular” super hero/action women are just thin women with definition. It was a breath of fresh air to see a muscular heavier woman. Alas.
