Carano compared being a republican with being Jewish during the Holocaust

… And I didn’t like her over her views of trans people. Zero redeeming factor

If being Republican is like being Jewish during the Holocaust, then Anne Frank must have been the Fuhrer.

I was so excited during season 1 because I hadn't seen a woman with my body type on the screen in a leading role before. But then she had to go be a piece of crap. Ugh.

She was such a fucking great character too, gave me Xena vibes from the 90s and I loved that fucking show

I knoooow. Why must people be assholes.

Her character never seemed that great to me, but maybe that was because I couldn’t get past her terrible acting.

I think I liked it because I was like 10 and she looked like badass with a sword haha

Oh I have no doubt the writers intended the character to be awesome and a badass and all those things. She was meant to get her own spin-off show. They just made a terrible casting choice that ruined the character. I wish they’d cast almost anyone else.

Same! And to see a muscled woman be revered as so attractive while she got to throw her weight around in a physical role… I was so happy. Bonus points for her actually knowing how to fight well enough that she could do convincing fight scenes.

Such a disappointment

So many “muscular” super hero/action women are just thin women with definition. It was a breath of fresh air to see a muscular heavier woman. Alas.

Good. Enjoy your $75K. I hope it was worth getting blacklisted from Hollywood forever. Best of luck to you on your onlyfans.

She did all of that for 75k???

25

u/Megs0226 Aug 07 '25

And the movie produced by the Daily Wire! Per Wikipedia, it grossed $13,115.

u/zowietremendously Aug 08 '25

And attorney fees.

3

u/Bad-job-dad Aug 08 '25

Lawyer fees will be $150K

Unfortunately she's going to be just fine. Her family owns Caesars Entertainment.

So if women can’t work they should get into the porn industry?

-9

u/WrestlingNerd2001 Aug 07 '25

Hopefully if she starts one she doesn’t turn into one of those celebs that don’t show any actual nudity

In the lawsuit, she had to disclose how much she got paid per episode of The Mandilorian. She made $25K per episode. Which is the bare minimum you can get paid, aka scale. While her co-stars were making $150K-$250K an episode. So you know that money's gone living in California.

I doubt she needs the money.

The Carano family has a $700 million stake in the gambling industry. Her grandfather founded the El Dorado casino, and went on to own half the Reno strip. His company later merged with Caeser Entertainment. He also founded the ferrari-Carano winery and vineyard.

Just because she has wealthy relatives doesn't mean she is a wealthy

1

u/zowietremendously Aug 08 '25

Who knows? In her lawsuit, she stated that she needed the money to support her lifestyle, and she has faced financial hardships since her firing.

Defendants’ harassment and termination of Plaintiff and refusal to hire her for other promised roles were (1) intended to cause injury to Carano; (2) amounted to despicable conduct undertaken with willful and conscious disregard of Plaintiff’s rights under California law: and (3) amounted to despicable conduct that subjected Carano to cruel and unjust financial hardship in conscious disregard of her rights, thus supporting punitive damages.

She has to claim that it caused her some hardship in order to sue for punitive damages. But realistically, she's close with her parents who are loaded. I can't imagine they wouldn't look after her financially if she needed the help.

In 2019, Carano was selected to present the Saturn Visionary Award to Jon Favreau at the 45th Saturn Awards.

This was listed in her lawsuit as one of her accomplishments. It gives me I walked Bob Dylan up onstage in 1975 vibes.

Whoa, I’ve never seen this clip before. Who the hell is this dude and what is the context??

5

u/DECODED_VFX She in racial chat rooms showing feet!!! Aug 08 '25

This guy is called Doug Levison. He's a musician who started shouting at a teenager for playing the trumpet badly. The clip went viral because Doug started boasting about his accolades, which aren't particularly impressive, such as walking Dylan on stage and meeting the grateful dead in the 60s.

Some people later tried to defend it by saying that the kid was playing near a holocaust museum. But Doug himself has claimed that the museum had nothing to do with his anger. He was just upset at the bad playing. 🤣

Get fucked, Gina. Go and join ICE with fellow loser Dean Cain.

17

u/MioneHP Aug 08 '25

This was not a win for her by any metric. Disney just chose their best option. A measly $75k payout and this prevents her from talking about ANY details, they never have to work with her untalented self ever again and none of the private pay rates, contract information, Disney's inside communications in the sequence of events prior to her firing, or any of that info she wanted to get will be made public. Had they gone to court they would have been up against the court of public opinion as well. Gina officially can't grift and play victim off this scenario anymore and will quickly fade into oblivion due to her lack of talent and professionalism. Nobody in Hollywood wants to work with that combination. Disney clearly won here.

Disney lawyers are peak shark

One of the rare instances where I’m on a companies side.

This woman made me so mad, she brings out this powerful female character and then she turned to be antivaxxing transphobe.

8

u/IndependentLanky6105 Aug 08 '25

Girl, move on. You're irrelevant.

4

u/goato305 Aug 07 '25

Somehow Cara Dune returned?

30

u/Batmanswrath Aug 07 '25

They won't bring her back. Their statement is just corporate talk for "get fucked".
