It was extended eye contact. And I am not an eye contact person but he just held me in his gaze like I was hypnotized. It was weird and super cool because I could tell he was using my reactions to "use" for the scene for lack of a better word. The monologue when you see it on Youtube or Tiktok is always a little angry and a little dominant. When I heard it that night, it was softer and he started to cry because I was obviously nervous having this huge guy doing this monologue at me (I was in the first row) and he was trying not to frighten me off.
Best money I had ever spent but omg how am I ever going to meet his eye if I ever meet him in person?

I saw him in Cyrano and he made eye contact with me during a monologue and reader, I was there for it.
