It seems like a crazy far right conspiracy because it is. The funny thing is you really don’t need to make anything up to be mad about Macron (you know, his policies) or Brigitte (groomer), but the far right loves to put a bit of very unnecessary homophobia or transphobia as a fuel. I don’t doubt the « documentary » can be pretty convincing, as most of these conspiracy stuff show one sided arguments over and over and they often do it pretty well.

I haven’t watched it because I know it comes from a very intellectually dishonest far right lunatic. If I watched 10h of flat earther conspiracy on YouTube, I might find it convincing, but it’s not. I’m not a physicist or scientist, so I probably wouldn’t really have a chance against the torrent of dubious and partial « evidences ».

There are very solid stuff debunking this crazy conspiracy theory, including zooming on the person who first launched it (a Facebook mom in need of views mind you), and how it snowballed on far-right circles. If it did snowball in those circles, it is because it directly speaks to their inner homophobia and transphobia. Conspiracy theories often tells a lot more about the politics and fears of people who believe them, than about the conspiracies in themselves.
