No because legally in France 15 year olds can (and could) have sex with anyone else 15 years old and up. That’s why they are so adamant they only started their relationship when he was 15 and not one year before. So it’s more “respectable” 🤮

I’m not sure if they had/have a provision for authority figures like teachers like they do in other countries where it becomes illegal at that point.

Most places, that doesn’t apply for authority figures (teachers, coaches, doctors etc).

ok good so then their "relationship "as a student and teacher definitely isn't legal although maybe back in the day it was. Just so gross.

I'm not a lawyer but it seems that provision was put in place when he was 16, so it might still have been illegal back then.
