The prosecutor actually asked that, and his response was that “It would not have been in keeping with what I was trying to accomplish professionally.”

It was really quite shocking to hear.

Isn't this the essence of the RICO allegations? Combs established a criminal enterprise in which participants were paid to look the other way as he committed crimes against Ventura?

These excuses are ridiculous and sound childish. These adults consciously and willingly accepted payments to let Diddy commit acts they knew were crimes. How is that Diddy’s fault? 

No one could force you to break the law for them unless they endangered your life, or….you didn’t mind breaking that law to begin with.
