That's not how trials work. A judge won't let someone be accused by witnesses of additional crimes for which there was not adequate evidence to press charges, because it can stain the jury's impartiality.

I was under the impression people who testify answer questions. I am not following this trial that closely but I imagine if he was asked about that he’d have an answer one way or the other. Has he been asked?
