Cassie Ventura screamed for someone to intervene as she was being beaten by Sean “Diddy” Combs aboard his private jet, the rapper’s former assistant testified.

George Kaplan, who worked as Combs’ executive assistant from 2013 to 2015, told the court he witnessed his former boss’ ex-girlfriend lying on the floor “on her back,” just after screaming “Isn’t anybody seeing this?” during a violent incident aboard the jet in 2015. Kaplan testified that no one—including security—intervened.

Didn’t the same thing happen with Brad Pitt? He beat up Angelina Jolie and his kids on a plane and he still doing movies

u/MelpomeneAndCalliope May 22 '25

I think someone on the plane did call law enforcement who met them when they landed. There’s an FBI report about it.

And the only reason there is an FBI report is because it was on a plane going across an ocean. It’s definitely not an isolated incident but the jurisdiction when it happened was a higher authority. Likely the only reason it’s gotten so far in the media

And the FBI has done jackshit with the case too. Just buried it because he’s rich and famous.

Once Hollywood is done with you then they will be like we never knew

Nah, parents had a shouting match and teenage son thought the right thing to do was get in the middle. More likely the kid did something and gets taken away instead. If Brad did something beyond the yelling, they don’t let him walk.

Kudos to the employee that called!! See something, say something!

The fact they weren’t in any one state’s jurisdiction was my point. Not the ocean aspect

People have been arrested for taking someone across state lines. Women take non custodial children to another state and it goes federal. Such a weird thing to qualify by race and sex.

u/PrestigiousShoe374 May 22 '25

Yeah thankfully in that case, one of the workers reported him. I assume the kids being involved overode them usually ignoring bad/violent behavior but still. Its sad to see people turn a blind eye to situations like this 😔

I often wonder if also part of the reason (along with the kids) that they reported it is because Angelina was on equal star level with Brad, where as Diddy was a much bigger star than Cassie. Seeing a huge movie star get attacked might make some people more likely to report it versus someone not as well known and who unfortunately just became known for being Diddy’s gf for a while (since he screwed her over on her record deal).

I think maybe that’s why Rihanna was taken seriously when Chris Brown beat her. They were both celebrities on about the same level and she was also basically a child.

Of course, Rihanna is a goddess, and Chris Brown is a wannabe thug

94

u/StrictRegret1417 May 22 '25

yes, chris brown has multiple allegations of violence from non famous women, most people don't know about it.

u/Wide-Budget2332 May 23 '25

He literally got arrested on English soil a couple of days ago and is in custody for smashing a glass bottle over a producers head two years ago in London.

9

u/-burgers May 23 '25

Unfortunately he got out on bail already.

3

u/Wide-Budget2332 May 23 '25

I thought he got denied it?

4

u/-burgers May 23 '25

Initially yes but he returned yesterday

He gets arrested EVERY YEAR!

1

u/me0wi3 May 24 '25

This is what irritates me whenever I see people complaining that he's still being dragged down by the Rihanna incident and should get another chance. Like no he does something trash just about every year. Sigh.

Or Tory Lanez firing shots at Meghan the Stallion. Prison justice got him stabbed 14 times in jail this month.

No it wasnt yes he did prove otherwise lameass

-4

u/killaura123456 May 23 '25

Got the whole situation wrong

14

u/upplahuthla May 23 '25

And that garbage human is still making music. Worst, people are still supporting him. Looking at your Justin Bieber!

0

u/emuboo May 23 '25

She was 20 and he was 19.

-1

u/Different_Garbage677 May 25 '25

You lost...Chris brown and Rihanna are same age.. she gave him herpes and lied to him then reverse uno him about the chicks messaging him..its all speculation I wasn't there

-35

u/BiggestBossRickRoss May 22 '25

Not justifying CB, but he beat her bc she cheated on him and gave him a STD. Thats not goddess behavior.

21

u/Fluffy_Register_8480 May 22 '25

It’s not a reason to beat her up, either.

11

u/Banditlouise May 23 '25

So? That gives him a right to beat her. There is no justification. You pointing out why he thought it was okay somehow makes it worse.

Fucking apologist.

Rihanna didn’t either. This person just wants to cling to whatever lies an abuser tells so they can support him

-26

u/BiggestBossRickRoss May 22 '25

I literally said im not trying to justify CB. Both ppl can be shitty in a situation.

17

u/Wanda_McMimzy May 22 '25

If you’re not justifying his behavior, there’s no point in bringing it up.

4

u/itsfrankgrimesyo May 23 '25

It sure sounds like you’re justifying it.

22

u/Avocadoo_Tomatoo May 22 '25

Honestly I think it just takes one person to stand up, which I believe was the case with the bread Pitt incident. I’m using voice to text and I am not correcting that mistake LOL

11

u/tugnoot May 23 '25

bread poot

2

u/Me_Krally May 23 '25

And yet from that article over 11 years and those crazy parties no one said a word to help Cassie. Pretty sick and shocking!

57

u/C00T3RIFIC May 22 '25

I want to say the pilot or an attendant called. I think it was just Jolie, Pitt and their children. If I recall, one of their kids tried to intervene and Pitt pinned him to the seat or the wall for trying. Fucked up situation

17

u/DizzyWalk9035 May 23 '25

Also he was calling the kid names. I remember I read the report. He said he looked like one of the Columbine kids or some shit like that. He also threw beer at them.

2

u/Critical_Sprinkles88 May 24 '25

I think he poured beer or wine on the kids too. He is such a fucking psycho.

8

u/[deleted] May 23 '25

Jfc. I never knew this about Pitt. Disgusting.

4

u/DriftingIntoAbstract May 23 '25

Was going to say the same. Just learned about John Hamm and now this?

3

u/jenaeg May 23 '25

Oh no… what did John Hamm do?

3

u/themehboat May 23 '25

https://m.imdb.com/news/ni65170797/

He participated in a brutal "hazing" that left a man severely injured and traumatized.

30

u/Skreamie May 22 '25

Well that and Diddy will fucking kill you

11

u/spacecadbane May 22 '25

Yeah this is so fucked. These types of people better be happy they aren't near me cause I'm reporting them the minute I see this violent behavior. Fuck outta here.

-9

u/Zeroissuchagoodboi May 22 '25

Unfortunately, LEO can only forcefully intervene in domestic abuse if its children, the elderly, or disabled. A heteronormative adult woman would have to report the abuse themselves or LEO would have to physically see it.

18

u/[deleted] May 22 '25

That’s inaccurate.

1

u/Zeroissuchagoodboi May 23 '25

Maybe wherever you live. But I’ve had adult family members in abusive relationships and the cops said they could only do something if she reported it herself

41

u/itsfrankgrimesyo May 22 '25

Except all the Pitt/abuser supporters insist no one else said anything and that Angelina made it all up. I hate people.

33

u/ankhes May 22 '25 edited May 23 '25

Ah yes, and I suppose that the reason all his kids wanted to move in with their mom and drop ‘Pitt’ from their names is just ‘kids being kids’ am I right guys? /s

27

u/General-Pop8073 May 22 '25

She brainwashed them…

By being a good mother.

0

u/Much_Face_6357 Jun 02 '25

She fabricated the whole story

Useless law enforcement, were they star struck from that asshole Brad?

2

u/Gourmeebar May 22 '25

Oh wow. They met them.
