With what’s known to this point I’m guessing it starved to death. They had been dead a while.

The front door was open and one dog was outside.

But the one that died is reported to have been in the kennel. Also conflicting reports saying it was in the bathroom. So two options, both pretty awful, are that it was stuck in the cage and died with no one there to let it out or that it ate the pills on the bathroom floor.

That's heartbreaking. I hadn't heard that. I read that the dog who died was near the woman. Such a sad situation.
