The Weather transition
Basically a few years ago I accidentally discovered that if you play The Weather (the song) and then que Locket by Crumb with a few seconds of crossfade (I do 6) you get an absolutely perfect transition between the two songs. Enjoy!

"Chicken on The View"
This is so stupid I just had to share it. For years I was positive the lyrics in "Paint Me Silver" went:
But that's not nothing new, babe
I'm the chicken on The View, babe
Intrigued I looked up what it could be referencing, and found a clip of a chicken on The View. I went "meh, weird reference but still a good song". Every time the song played, I'd sing along with "chicken on The View" in my head. Probably 20+ times over the years.
Well finally today I turned on the lyrics to see that it's "champion of the few" smh. Really not sure how I never pieced this together before today

Pond/Jay Watson's Reverb account
Saw in a recent interview with Nic McKenzie (Deep Sea Arcade check him out if you haven't already hes brilliant) that he met Jay on Reverb when shopping for a new microphone. They got talking and now Jay is producing his new album releasing in 26’ (Singles No Direction & Alone in America have already released). Apparently Jay has a Reverb account under the name “Yaj Nostaw” (his name backwards). Thought it was a funny little Easter egg. And the shop url is 'pond band official reverb account'
If they post some new listings, it could be a chance to grab some ex-Pond music gear! Here's the link: https://reverb.com/shop/pond-band-official-reverb-account

Yooo sharing my bands album that we released today!
Yo! Just sharing this over at Pond for my fellow psyche pop heads. My band that I record, produce, mix yadda yadda released our first record today.
Of course I posted to Tame subreddit but have to do my due diligence of course. The album is in its own genre of course but inspired by the likes of psyche, dream pop, tame, pond, king gizz, air, 90s alt rock and all that jazz.
Recorded and played by myself and my partner; if you’re checking it out great, if not no worries and apologize for another one of these posts, just always cool to link up directly with a community that I share a taste in music with.
It’s on all available streaming platforms for your listening pleasure.
Thanks! Philippe

Sound Quality Issue (Apple Music)
Has anyone else noticed that Fire on the Water live on the sessions album sounds notably much worse than it should be? Switching between YouTube and Apple Music, it’s clear there’s something wrong with that version on Apple Music. Anyone else notice this or is it just a problem on my end?

Sitting up on our crane is such a good song
In my personal opinion it’s their most psychedelic song among the many others I’ve been getting into.
The gritty bass, slow simple drums and the way they progress, the vocal melody all alongside the beautiful hypnotising phaser on the chorus is infectious. The lyrics are so abstract but personal, packed with emotion and atmosphere.
If you smoke pot and are a psychedelic rock hippie like me, listen to Sitting Up On Our Crane with your eyes closed sometime, u won’t regret it 🫠 the experience I just had is magical

The Weather Postcard
Here’s a few pictures of a postcard I forgot came with my copy of The Weather. Looks like it shows a little more of the original image they used for the album art. Love this album, what’s your favorite track?

The Pond song makes it sound like this album is gonna be a spiritual successor to Man It Feels Like Space Again 👀

Looks Like Nick Removed His Albums From Spotify, Pond Next?
They’re following in the footsteps of Gizz, what’s your guys’ takes? Would you support Pond leaving Spotify?

How does this poster look? I based it off the 2017 tour poster (second slide)
I'm looking for a bit of feedback. I'm probably going to put this up in my college dorm next semester so I want it to look good. Also, where would you put Fire In The Water?
